Im 28 5’11" and 250. I’ve been on a high fiber (whole grains at every meal) lower calorie diet (1400-1500) a day and my pants feel like they are getting tighter? Help!
I’ve also been working out, cardio and weight training
Thanks! I guess I could have answered that myself. Was kinda hoping there was a different explanation but thanks ![]()
I know the Atkins Diet works, but I could not stick to it. I am trying the high fiber diet, I should say eating 100% whole grains and high fiber veggies and beans.
I have Diabetes type 2. If I eat whole grains they are "high" in carbs so how can I lose weight. Whole grain foods and legumes are all high in carbs. They are also very high in calories. What is the benefit of eating healthy when I cannot lose weight eating all these carbs? I need to lose 40 pounds.
I am very confused as to what to eat. Is Atkins the best, of course for short-term. Are whole grains helping me lose weight? Should I do a low-calorie diet and of course low-carbs and no sugar. Nothing is working for me.
My Diabetes is under control and that is not the problem, losing weight is because I am not sure how to diet.
What about 1000 calories a day? That would eliminate meat with 0 carbs. How about salads, yogurt and whole grain bread?
I need to know what to eat to lose weight.
Good point. I would like to gain three years of my life having sex. So tell me, where do I find an old man my age. ha ha Thanks.
I eat an extremely high fiber diet– lots of fruits, veggies, whole-grains, nuts, and seeds. Every morning I eat a spoon of roasted flaxseeds. Sometimes I end up having to go to the bathroom (#2 that is) 3 times in one day (seriously!). I don’t know if this is healthy? I’ve read somewhere that too much fiber might move the food too quicky through your body for it to absorb the nutrients. Is this true? And using the bathroom that often is probably not so good, right?
I don’t understand… I drink lots of water, eat only whole grains, eat tons of vegetables, I don’t force my stool… I don’t pick up heavy things… I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. What else causes hemorrhoids? I plan on seeing the doctor in the next month or two… but I don’t have insurance, so I have to wait
Please, any help is greatly appreciated.
They are internal
Terry Nichols doesn’t like the food in prison. It’s bad, he complains. It makes him suffer "chronic constipation, bleeding and hemorrhoids.
After describing his bowel movements in cringe-inducing detail, Nichols demands that prison officials be forced to provide him with a high-fiber diet that includes whole grains along with fresh vegetables and fruit daily. He argues that Supermax prison food amounts to cruel and unusual punishment
