if someone has hemorrhoids removed by rubber band ligation and the rubber bands come off hours later and are in excruciating pain . is it ok to just leave them and they will get better or will they get worse they are bleeding still and it has been 2 days and still in major pain wasn’t given anything for the pain and if it is just left then how long should this pain last for. had 2 colonoscopies done and both times for nothing first time could’t find anything second time rubber bands came off 8 hours after the surgey felt most of the procedure exscruciating pain so he refuse to have it done a 3rd time wich after what he just went trough i wouldn’t either. thanks for everyones answers :) :):)
He phoned the emergancy room this morning and they told him they couldn’t tell him anything over the phone that he would have to wait to talk to his doctor tomorrow he has to have a warm soak every 30 min pretty much he is in a lot of pain and can not drive to the hospital and he is worried all they will tell him they have to re do the procedure ans he refuses to have it done again he has been in so much pain since he had it done 2 days ago and today he feels ill
sounds kinda gross but the rubber bands came off and fell in the toilet like 8 hours after the procedure
