i was constipated today and when i was in the bathroom my hemorrhoid ruptured and well now it hurts to sit and just feels like there a fire. I don’t want to go to the doctor because he sent me to a specialist and the guy said they were going to put rubber bands on it and i said i didn’t want that and left and i dont want to tell my doctor i didn’t want to do it. Does anyone know any creams that will stop the pain…i tried preparation h but it just burns more. Can i put st ives lotion?
i don’t want to see the doctor because hes gonna get mad at me cause i didnt do the rubber band treatment

i have a fairly small bump on my anus and it hurts REALLY bad, i’m in a play and dancing is so pinful! i have 4 more days of the play, but i REALLY want this thing to go away! please give advice on what i should do! i’ve told my parents but they didn’t seem to care nor get help. I don’t know what to do! should i sit in hot water for 20 minutes? should i try the rubber band technique? i have the supplies and what not, but i still don’t know what exactly to do. I really want the pain to stop! it’s an eternal one, not internal, PLEASE give advice!

I had food that disagreed with me at work about a week ago and had to visit the restroom repeatedly and use scratchy toilet paper, so its pretty easy to see how I got the problem. It hurt for about 2 days which was okay, I got some prep H and started using it, hoping it would go away after a bit. But then it started bleeding just from sitting, let alone from passing anything else. I tried ligating it with a rubber band, but it is too small and the prep H is helping but not remedying the problem. I know I should probably see a doctor, but does anyone have any other advice short of surgery? Thanks…

I went to the docs to make sure i had a hemorrhoid and sure enough he for sure said i had an external one. He did give me some ointment and some suppositories and I used them both. The ointment really shrunk the sucker a lot. Now every now and then I will have blood droplets in the toilet, and sometimes its streaks of blood. The blood color is bright red. Ever since ive been to the docs and got medicine for it the intervals of when I bleed increase, meaning I went a week without anything, then I went a few weeks, and now I was up to a month or so with nothing. I dont feel pain, i dont get nautious, I dont feel fatigued all the time, Im really perfectly fine. Even when I go to the bathroom it used to hurt because of the Hemorrhoid, but now I feel no pain. Really all I want to know is, if there is anything I can do to prolong the time between the bleeding or completely stop it. I am considering the rubber band removal process too, but not now.
The bleeding would be either be very little amount of streaks, or droplets AFTER the bowel was passed. So I may have an internal hemorrhoid. I am also 19 years old.

I just recently started getting hemorrhoids, and have never had them until now. My husband says when they dangle out of my rear, to put a rubber band tightly around it. (some times it will protrude a couple of inches)This will apparently make them fall off. Is this true? Anyone else do this?
