has anyone ever had hemorrhoid rubber band ligation where the rubber bands come off like 8 hours later and if your in excruciating pain from the surgery how long will the pain last it has been 3 days he talked to his Dr today and all they pretty much said was oh well it happens and told him they could do the procedure again but he woke up 2o minutes into it and felt the pretty much tthe whole thing he was screaming in pain he herd the nurse say i don’t thik he’s out and he herd the dr say we’ll just hurry so he will not have it done again wich i wouldn’t either so i was just wondering has any one else ever had or herd of anyone having ther rubber bands coming off like 8 hours later thanks for everyones answers :):)

if someone has hemorrhoids removed by rubber band ligation and the rubber bands come off hours later and are in excruciating pain . is it ok to just leave them and they will get better or will they get worse they are bleeding still and it has been 2 days and still in major pain wasn’t given anything for the pain and if it is just left then how long should this pain last for. had 2 colonoscopies done and both times for nothing first time could’t find anything second time rubber bands came off 8 hours after the surgey felt most of the procedure exscruciating pain so he refuse to have it done a 3rd time wich after what he just went trough i wouldn’t either. thanks for everyones answers :):)
He phoned the emergancy room this morning and they told him they couldn’t tell him anything over the phone that he would have to wait to talk to his doctor tomorrow he has to have a warm soak every 30 min pretty much he is in a lot of pain and can not drive to the hospital and he is worried all they will tell him they have to re do the procedure ans he refuses to have it done again he has been in so much pain since he had it done 2 days ago and today he feels ill
sounds kinda gross but the rubber bands came off and fell in the toilet like 8 hours after the procedure

I had rubber band ligation for a small internal hemorrhoid yesterday and it hurts so bad, like the feeling of a stabbing knife inside. I had to get prescribed to vicodin. Everytime the Vicodin wears off it starts to hurt and throb and then slicing pain. The surgeon told me that the rubber band can’t be removed unless I get surgery and said my pain should go away today but It’s not getting better. Anyone ever have the band removed after the procedure? Anyone have excruciating pain after the procedure but then got better? Please help, i’m hurting so bad!

I am considering visiting the proctologist to have a hemorrhoid removed and I was wondering how much should I expect to pay for the visit and how much for the Rubber Band Ligation? I don’t have health insurance and this is why it concerns me.
