Hi, it has been about 5 weeks now since I developed a bump right in the middle of my rectum, it felt like a sharp needle pain when I had a bowel movement and was extremely painful. From my symptoms I think I have a thrombosed or prolapsed internal hemorrhoid. I tried chinese herbal medicine fargelin which is supposed to reduce swelling and thin blood to remove the clot but all it did was make my bleeding hemorrhoids worse, so I stopped taking it. I also used nelsons h care which had no effect at all. As the weeks progress it seems to be getting bigger and bigger and now I’m really scared. I dont want to have surgery because I heard its really painful. Plz help me
P.s. plz no stupid answers, if u gt nothing good to say then stay quiet.

Okay, so I’ve asked about a hemorrhoid before. And constipation recently. They just go hand-in-hand. But, ah… I’m asking about whether or not I have a prolapsed internal hemorrhoid or just an external one right now.

I’ve looked up pictures of prolapsed internal hemorhoids – which are… disturbing – as well as hemorrhoid diagrams. From what I see, a prolapsed internal hemorrhoid would literally come from the anus. Like something stuck up there pointing out. Apparently they can come out when you strain and, at a certain point, you can push them manually back in. This is why I’m asking.

Mine are… Well, I CAN push them back in/down usually after they puff/swell up when I strain due to my recent constipation, but my thing is that mine seem to be on the outer rim of my… Rectum? Like an external hemorrhoid would be. They swell when I strain, the swelling can be pushed back down with a couple of tries, but I can physically feel that it’s connected to my anus, unlike how – from what I understand – a prolapsed one would be.

Is this an external hemorrhoid, a prolapsed inner hemorrhoid, or just an internal hemorrhoid that I can feel that isn’t prolapsing – do you think?

Hi, i’m an 18 years old girl, and i just got diagnosed of polyps on my colon.

I think i have actually noticed that something was not normal with my abdomen since about 2 or 3 years ago, cause i noticed that bright red blood occurs several times when i went to the toilet. but i thought it was okay, so i didnt tell my parents yet. and then about 9 months ago, i told my parents about it and we instantly assumed that it was hemorrhoid (since my father and his siblings have had taken hemorrohoid surgery). but then later on this week, i went to the gynecologist because my period circulation is very rapid, and when the doctor check my rectum with his finger, he told me to go to the surgeon because he’s suspicious of the hemorrhoid.

So right after that, I went to my uncle who is a surgeon (he haven’t know about my “hemorrhoid” yet). And then he “slipped in” a tube like sort of thing into my rectum and I don’t know what happened back there but I hear my uncle told my mom and the nurse beside him to look at those little grape like things. Then my uncle said that it wasn’t hemorrhoid but it was polyp. So I have to take surgery, and then after the polyp has lifted, it will be sent into the lab for a test. But my uncle told me that he wants me to go to another surgeon (digestive surgeon to be specific) before operation. And he said that how can you haven’t notice anything about it until today? You should’ve noticed it, since the polyps are not small (he didn’t said that they were big though). And I told him that I noticed the fresh blood and the mucus, but I thought that it was hemorrhoid.

I know that I will get the diagnoses from these doctors, but since I’m just curious and I haven’t made any appointments with another surgeon yet, can you help me with these questions please?
1.Is it possible that my uncle is mistaken? I mean that it really was a hemorrhoid.
2.If it is polyp, can you give a quick diagnose if this polyps are harmless polyps or not (cancer etc)?
3.Is it possible to have a colon cancer at the age of 18?

Every couple of months, I feel this extremely sharp pain in my rectum and when you push on my lower abdomen, it gets worse. It is unbearable and no position will alleviate it so I just lay on the floor and cry. It happened again yesterday and soon after I had a bowel movement. it was so bad that my mom almost rushed me to the hospital. I’m 17, a girl and have had chronic prolapsed hemorrhoids for 2 years now. My mom thinks it could be IBS but has this every happened to anyone else and if so what is it or what could it be?

I’ve been having this problem since ’94, but recently it has been getting worse. I got more than one hemorrhoid from what I can tell. Primarily they’re within the rectum. I think I may end up needing an operation to have them removed. I wanted to know exactly what’s involved. You would be laying on your stomach so would u need to be hooked up to a catheter? Also how long before you can go to the toilet without it hurting after surgery? I just want to know how much is involved here.
