OK I have a HUGE dilemma! A few days ago, friday, my silkie had a prolapsed vent. The egg was actually hanging out with a membrane wrapped around it and it looked like a testicle hanging there. She had laid her normal egg and this was a second one that she normally doesnt lay till 25 hours later. The egg wasnt any bigger then the first, but it had a much thinner shell and was kinda spotted. I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO! So i got on line and i read where you could make a small incision in the membrane with a sterile razor blade to get the egg out and put some hemorrhoid cream on it to shrink the membrane back in. Of course i washed off the area best i could and tried to keep it all as sterile as possible. The vent bulge did go down a little but not all the way. i separated her from my other silkies in a large cage and gave her some food and water. She ate and drank a little, but the next day i noticed there was alot of pee and poop on the bulging vent, so i didnt give her any food for one day and a half ( thinking that maybe that would help with the poop not getting on her so much, im not wanting to starve her or hurt her in any way, so please dont think that), but still gave her water and cleaned the area best i could and reapplied the cream. I know shes was stressed with the situation so i pretty much left her a lone yesterday and gave her food ( not her normal chicken feed though) and water which she ate. I had read to give her just scratch which i did. The scratch i use i a mixture if different seeds, not just corn. Her vent is still bulging a little, better then what it was, but now there is more poop and pee all over her butt. So this evening im going to get a bucket of warm water and wash her butt off good and reapply the cream. Oh and she hasnt laid an egg since this happened so i dont know if that second egg was "sundays" egg and she wont lay till tomorrow. I was also going to see what happens when she lays her egg, if her vent will be "ok". Im stressing over this cause im at a loss… I have chicken books but none of them tell me what to actually do for this. So heres my questions…. Do chickens survive this kind of thing and what is the "normal" time does it take to heal?….What should i look for if there is an infection inside her?…Could this situation possibly force her into "molting"?( a chicken farmer said that might help her, but i dont have a pure dark place to keep her for a couple days, and that was all the advice he could give me)… What has anyone else done in this situation and would you recommend anything else? Am i doing the right thing?

Please know that I am NOT wanting her to suffer in any way and if she must be put down then, even though i hate the thought of losing her, i would do it. I am not in ANY way trying to be cruel to her or harm her. And I get NO PLEASURE out of this. I just want to do whats best for her, so please help me help her. so i’m 14 years old. it was just an average midnight during summer break, when just a few moments ago.. i went to go to the washroom to take a sh*t, then after i was done. i noticed it was a lot wetter than usual, then i looked. it was red. i looked that the toilet was filled with "blood". so it can be internal/external Hemorrhoids. i don’t know what just happened. but it was not painful. it felt like any other bathroom break. the pee was not red. i also ate mcdonalds 30 minutes before this happened. it was kinda bright red color. so can someone tell me what the hell just happened?

i havent had constipation with this pregnancy but last week it started hurtin when i would go to the bath room like even to pee it felt like alot of pressure will now i have 3 external hemorrhoids and it hurts really bad i have used tucks pads and oinment but nothing is helping. like i dont even want to pee cause its just so much pressure when i set down. has any one had this before if so what did u do for it. my next doc app. aint till the 27th which is like a week and a half away i sent them an email but havent got a reply to it back yet. please if u have any information i would greatly appericate it…..

I am severely constipated to the point where my stomach is giving off burning pains, and i can hardly pass gas.. i can pee still, but its becoming harder. i started taking miralax tuesday night, and i took it my 3rd time last night (to the white line) and it hasn’t really helped. I dont know if i have an internal hemorrhoid now since i can hardly pass gas without having to force it out, and i dont wanna do that cause it will strain my hemorrhoid. i dont know what to do.. this is really embarassing and i have no one to take me to the doctor my parents are at work. i have been eating fiber all day, apple juice, apples, hummus, chicken, pita bread, oatmeal this morning. it feels like they are moving but i cant get it out, i feel a bunch of stuff like moving around in my digestive system like gas and stuff..

For the past few days I’ve had anal bleeding. Like I need to wear a panty liner. I’m not constipated, I don’t have hemorrhoids and nothing strange happened to my butt. It’s enough that when I pee the toilet water is red and I’ve noticed fleshy stuff like from a period, but I don’t have my period. Any ideas? I know this is gross and I’m sorry, but I did warn you.
