I know this is gross but I would rather ask total strangers. I have chronic constipation and usually everything is fine as long as I remember my medicine. unfortunately, it has caused internal hemorrhoids. what should i do about them if i forget my meds considering constipation causes them?

What counts as unusual bleeding? I noticed I have been getting quite a few bruises since I started a new medication a few months back, and also had what I suspect was hemorrhoids (I have never had them, but I think thats what it was). Does that come under the definition of ‘unusual bleeding’, which is a side effect of the medication I am on.

I am not really concerned, I have been on the meds for a while and feel good. My mother mentioned it though, and when I looked at the info pamphlet I saw unusual bleeding and wondered.

alright, so as you know, I have a somewhat small hemorrhoid. I think 1st or second degree, but I’m leaning on first since I do bleed when I "stool" . Now the doctor I went to gave me a prescription to Anusol-HC, a cream for hemorrhoid problems. He even said that it’s not that big of a deal and that it was healing on its own before he even prescribed me the meds. Now here’s the shitty part, I have to leave for overseas on tuesday, and im staying for a month and 4 days there. If my hemorrhoids haven’t healed till tuesday, how do I cope with them? I do not want surgery, everyone says that it’s the last line of defense, and I heard it hurts like hell after the morphine wears off, plus, I’ve heard that the stitches can rip. Right now I’m starting the new anti-hemorrhoid diet. You know, lots of grains, fruits, veggies, and water, plus that cream. I will also be taking that so called "sitz" bath, or salt-water bath. So will these things help me get rid of my external hemorrhoid? Time is obviously against me, because if it were up to me, I’d cancel that plane ticket in a second, but my siblings are making me go, so I really don’t have much of a choice. What I’m afraid of is that it’s gonna grow or get worse while I’m there. And healthcare there is certainly not the best, in that country. Nor do I trust it. So, how do I cope with this? So far, it’s small, and it hasn’t grown since I’ve developed it. I want to get rid of without surgery, even if it’s gonna come back again 40 years later, at least I can enjoy life till then without having worry on my head that it might turn into a surgery. I’m overweight, so this explains why I have this hemorrhoid. I need help fast, give me some suggestions. I will go to the clinic again as it’s just 2 feet away from me. The only thing I’d get right now is "stool softener" . Again, it’s external, just one small hemorrhoid, 1st degree, and doesn’t hurt during the daytime. It only stings a little when I "stool" and that comes out bloody. Thanks for your time.

Have very, very painful internal hemorrhoids, that is bleeding and throbbing. Each bowel movement is so painful I’m in tears. I went to the dr about it, he gave me a numbing external med, then he gave me a hard plastic applicator for internal. The meds are not numbing anything, and the pain is so bad, I can not use the hard plastic applicator.He told me to take a warm bath, and that helped for about 20 minutes. I am a server and and on my feet all day, with no breaks and our trays are pretty heavy. Dr said that wouldn’t aggravate it, but I feel like my insides are gonna come out of my butt! I can feel it throbbing! I have even tried the otc suppositories, several times a day, but even those are painful and don’t seem to work. It got so bad this weekend, I called the dr, and he just told me to take a sitz bath again. I’m taken about 8 -10 advil a day, and that doesnt seem to even touch the pain. Any suggestions? IN PAIN!!!

My doctor is an idiot. I have Painful INTERNAL hemorrhoids. I googled it, and it says internal hemorrhoids arent painful. – Mine are!!! :-S Well it only hurts when im passing a stool. Not otherwise. I have to sort of hover over the toilet, otherwise it hurts whilst it passes out. Has anyone else ever had this problem? It bleeds occasionally too. There is red blood on the toilet paper and it isnt mixed in. Ive has this since last July, and it wasnt bleeding then, i used over the counter meds and it was fine whilst i am on them, but soon as i stop, all the problems start again! Its back now with a vengance!

I went to see my doctor today, and told her the above. and she didnt even examine me. She told me "Do you see a doctor when you have a cold?" I said "no" and she said "Well I have more important cases than your hemorrhoids. Its such a common thing, just go to the pharmacy and buy something next time. If the problem isnt there when your on the medication, why do you stop?…
…BECAUSE IT SAYS NOT TO USE IT FOR MORE THAN A WEEK!!!!!!! DUH!
So, my question is HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD HEMORRHOIDS LIKE THIS? Internal, but you have pain when passing a stool. also, my a*us has a hard lump around it. ive booked an appointment with another doc. but i just need some feedback in the meanwhile! Im peed off, what if ive got cancer or something, she should be struck off the list!
