I didn’t know about hemorrhoids till a few days ago when I did some research on the internet. But I think I have an internal hemorrhoid. I don’t have any itching or discomfort but when I have a bowel movement, it hurts and it bleeds. I recently purchased a suppository and a stool softener pill. Please help. How can I get rid of this Hemorrhoid?

My husband believes that he may have an internal hemorrhoid, but is afraid to go the doctor out of fear that he will be discharged from the Air Force.

Three weeks ago, I went to the gynecologist and she told that I had a hemorrhoid. She prescribed me suppositories to take for two weeks, because I think it’s an internal hemorrhoid. At first, putting the suppositories in didn’t hurt at all and I had no pain down there, but towards the end of the treatment, it begin to hurt really badly when I put them in. I finished the treatment last week and I still have that pain. I feels as if there is a sharp object in there. Does anybody have any idea why this is happening or what I should do about it? Should I make another appointment with my gynecologist or go to my general doctor?

I’m not sure if i have an internal hemorrhoid because when I go to the bathroom, i push and something protrudes from my anus…but I felt it and it seems like it’s just skin that is getting pushed out, connected to my anus. I don’t know if it is a hemorrhoid because it doesn’t hurt to sit down and it doesn’t hurt to go to the bathroom. My only issue is that when I push, there is a "skin-like" thing, connected to my anus that goes back in when I don’t push anymore…is this a hemorrhoid or what?

I have really not drank any water the last week and just the last two days im having trouble passing stools. I looked at my butt in a mirror to see if i had hemorrhoids but didnt see anything but when i pushed really hard it seems like part of my butt was coming out is that normal? Anyway’s i was digaonsed with super small pin head size hemorrhoids on the outside of my butt which are basically almost gone. If i had an internal hemorrhoid would i know? Like it feels like I have a brick in my butt i need to poo so bad. I can feel the pressure from it from i sit down but no pain or anything. My diet the last week is like 5 cans of pop at least a day greasy fast food, basically no water at all hot dogs, cheese and sausages. Could this be why I am not pooping?
