I have a gastroenterologist who recommended me to take Miralax & Suppositories everyday for the next 3-6 months. This will be too harsh on my body. I am a diabetic and I have severe high blood pressure. I have been advised to start on a body cleansing program because the constant fatigue is the main problem. OTC Regimen seems to work for a little while and then I start getting constipated again or I will have to discontinue because I get dehydrated from diarrhea. I have been advised by the gastroenterologist to be on a high fiber diet. I have been advised to eat only fruits and vegetables from the internal medicine physician. No breads, No Sugar, No Salt, No Caffeine. No Fried Foods. No Excuses. I have been advised to start on a vegetarian meal program that is designed for diabetics.

So, I am searching for a high fiber diabetic vegetarian meal program and complete body cleansing program for overall health. I am suppose to eat 6 small meals a day. I have digestive problems so it is hard for me to take multivitamins. I would eat lot of high fiber foods and would get constant bloating and gas discomfort. So, I would need to be on a cleansing program and drink plenty of water only with every meal to eliminate the symptoms.

So, I was told if I could afford it; they would recommend me to start on the DrNatura Colonix Program for the first three months along with the Digestaid and Flora Protect Probiotics for the first three months to start regulating the bowel movements and eliminate the toxins that causes fatigue. It would cost me 3.24 for the three month program but do you think that it would be worth a try?

I have asthma, severe high blood pressure, diabetes, acid reflux disease, and internal hemorrhoids & external hemorrhoids. I have been breaking out in so many rashes lately but they said that the body acid and diabetes may be the cause of this and a body cleansing program and vegetarian diet should eliminate this program within the first two weeks.

It is amazing what the body goes through. I have three children and I would not want them to lose their mother over something that can be avoided. A body cleansing regimen is important for any woman or man and that is why I had to have the colonoscopy. I am searching for a healthy lifestyle and I am not good at staying on a diet program with cleansing out the body first. The body cleansing program is suppose to be a jumpstart towards a healthy lifestyle. It is suppose to take the taste of junk foods away and that is what I need. A program to coach me the right way to maintain a healthy lifestyle and remain on this healthier lifestyle for the rest of my life.

I recently saw a program on public television for the fiber 35 diet. The diet appealed to me because 1) I eat a lot of vegetables/high fiber foods anyway and 2) the diet’s creator claims that eating 35 or more grams of fiber per day causes your body to burn a couple hundred calories just by processing the fiber. I’ve been on the diet only 2 weeks and have gotten past the nightmare cramping, bloating and *ahem* constant gas expulsion, but I’m wondering if this will really work in the long run. I’ve read some consumer reviews on the fiber 35 diet and wonder if the rave reviews of losing tons of weight are really true. Anyone have any experience with this? I’m on this diet primarily to lose weight and secondarily to preserve my health with healthy eating. In a typical day I eat a couple bags of frozen vegetables (broccoli, corn, etc.), a can of lentil or black bean soup, red beans & rice, oranges, and oatmeal or bran cereal. No meat, which is a new thing for me!

ive read similar questions and it seems that everyone reccomends eating high fiber foods and fruits and veggies to make bowel movements easier…so that you dont strain and develop hemorrhoids. but my problem is im 37 weeks pregnant and having quite a bit of diarreah, and seem to have developed hemorrhoids. (not sure cause ive never had them before) so im not sure what to do because i dont really have a problem with constipation, but it does burn a lot when i go to the bathroom, and when i sit down. has anyone ever dealt with this situation…and what can i do?

I am dealing with hemorrhoids, and I'm only twenty two, but they have gotten pretty bad. As a result, i'm trying to eat a high fiber diet. Usually it consists of

–apples and pears
–triscuits
–raisin bran/raisin nut bran
–oatmeal
–whole grain pasta

Can anyone tell me what foods they eat that help them increase fiber in their diet? I know that regular fruits and veggies should do the trick, but its not in this case. I am going to see my doctor tomorrow, because its gotten so bad, but whether or not i have to have it surgically removed, I am still going to need a high fiber diet. It would be great if there were any snack foods you could suggest that I could munch on throughout the day. I guess you could say I'm looking for very high fiber foods in particular. A super fiber food (if you will). Any suggestions? The more specific the better.

Thanks!
