Is there any particular thing or food that causes hemorrhoids.

I am looking for some alternative treatments for hemorrhoids. I am fed up with the conventional treatments. I am scared of hemorrhoid surgery.

Ive had 2 medium sized external hemorrhoids for about 20 hours now. Im 16 years old and very athletic and about 130 pounds. Ive been using preperation h. This is very painful and uncomfortable so i was just wondering about how long do you think its going to take for it to shrink and not have pain?

Are anybody here who have used and successful in any alternate methods for curing hemorrhoids.
