Yesterday, my butt began feeling like it had a diaper rash. I looked at it at the end of the day and noticed what appears to be a small hemorrhoid. I bought some Preparation H this morning and have began using it. It is not real big in size and there’s barely any pain with it, it’s just uncomfortable. I also noticed there is a foul smell with it. Does anyone know how long this will last, any ways to speed up the healing process, and whether or not I should make it a point to go to the doctor? I’m going on spring break in exactly a week and don’t really want this tagging along with me.. thanks!

I have two external hems. a possible anal fissure, and possible internal hems. I’m scheduled to have the surgery the Tuesday during thanksgiving week. I was wondering from everything I looked into about the procedure and the pain, if I do a lemonade cleanse so my body has no toxins to remove if it would be more beneficial on my recovery time. The cleanse is for 10 days, but i expect to have a flush from the doctor the day before the surgery. The thing I’m not sure about is this, I read about someone saying that your anal whole can shrink if it isn’t being worked. I have no idea whatsoever if this is true or not. can anyone tell me if this cleanse will mess me up or if it actually is smart for this kind of surgery recovery time? I’ve done cleanses before but they weren’t this demanding of not eating. PLEASE GUIDE ME THROUGH THIS.
Would it be best to do an all liquid cleanse? thats my main concern. If i don’t have a reason to use the bathroom for about 10 days or so would it help my healing process?

i basically plan to have my body clear of needing to do anything but urinate. I figured that by leaving my bottom alone for 10 days it would be beneficial to the healing process.
