I developed a hemorrhoid while giving birth to my son over 2 years ago. It doesn’t hurt at all, but it is annoying. I was told to push it back in but it always seems to find its way out again. It’s pretty small but it’s just embarrassing. I am recently in a relationship where I have been having anal sex and I’m nervous he will see it or feel it at some point. Is there a way to get rid of it permanently without surgery? Do I talk to my gynecologist?

After giving birth, did any of you have hemorrhoids so bad that you had to have them removed by surgery? How long did you have them for, and what was the surgery like? How was recovery? I had my daughter 2 months ago, and I may have to get this done. =[
