Ok this is the story…I just noticed a little flesh colored bump on my pubic area, above my, I guess you would say shaft. Well I’ve been doing some internet searching and i found out that.Genital Warts" can cause cell growth on the cervix of a women and when pregnant can also appear like external hemorrhoids…Well my girlfriend was told when she had a pap smear that she needs to be further checked for cell growth on her cervix and she had, what she said were hemorrhoids when she was pregnant.I have been with her for 4 years now.Never in my life have i had something like this.Oh and also read that they can show up when your immune system is low.I just got over a sinus infection for the first time in my life…WTF is going on?
K.thx for your guys help.I wanted to add that i was tested in O8′ and was clean.I also know that cell growth on the cervix can be cancerous but it is also linked to HPV.And the hemorrhoid thingy she had…didn’t look like the crazy ones I found online its was almost like Mollescum thingy..well its what it looked like most.And Ya there is no way its been there for awhile…I keep a clean ship lol and would have seen it before.But anyways thx again and I’ve got a appointment at Plan Parenthood in 2 days.So IDK maybe its nothing and a infected hair or maybe i have something im not that stressed anymore.I’ll deal with it when the time comes. Just was a little freaked at first:P Just when I did research it seemed like there were links to my greatest fear.I’m sure i was looking for the connections in a panic and wasn’t being open minded.Well thx again for your time guys and have a good week:)

Im female and 21 years old. About a month ago I noticed that I had very large amounts of bright red blood in the toilet with my bowel movement. It occurs about once or twice a week. I try and see if there is any blood in the actual stool but there is so much blood in the toilet I can’t see the stool. When I wipe it is like someone just had a VERY VERY heavy period. I went to the doctor and he said that I don’t have any internal or external Hemorrhoids or anal fissures. He thinks it might be ulcers and put me on a high fiber diet and Prilosec and this still occurs. I was supposed to go back after 2 weeks, but I work 2 jobs and haven’t had the time. Since I already know its not Hemorrhoids or anal fissures, what else could cause A LOT of bright red blood in the toilet when I make a bowel movement once or twice a week?

so, i’m not sure if this is my hemorrhoids r something serious. i just had a bowel movement and when i wiped i had bright red blood on the toilet paper on…there was none in the actual stool. i took at mirror to look at my buttocks and it seems as if my external hemorrhoids are enlarged and one sorts of hurts a lot and stings. i’m not sure if i strained or tore something down there. what do you think it could be…i don’t want it to be cancer ;-/

p.s. i have had hemorrhoid problems before where they got irritated and enlarged and hurt to sit. so, i’m not sure if this is the same thing.

I have been using laxatives(senokot forte) for two years and find it good to my bowel movements.It helps me to prevent my internal and external hemorrhoids to bleed. I felt a natural bowel movements. By I was wondering if it’s okay??My movement is depending on the medicine..Please answer this. Thanks!!

I’m a 16 year old guy and I’ve had external hemorrhoids for about a year now; I don’t know how I got them because I have a good diet and I’m not overweight.
Anyway, I’ve tried all the creams and stuff but nothing has made a great impact. So I think I need to go and see my doctor but I don’t know because it’s probably going to be embarrassing obviously.
Does anyone know anything else that would work?
Also, would I need my parent’s consent (in the UK) to have surgery for it or something?
