So my boyfriend seems to be having a bit of a problem.. ;/ Recently he’s been experiencing pain on his lower back running though the anus down to the testicle. Today he discovered a small lump on the opening of his anus and he is in bearable yet uncomfortable pain. We’ve looked it up, but the only thing that comes up is "external hemorrhoids"… need more possible answers.. Any ideas what he may experiencing?

I have been dealing with external hemorrhoids for a few years, but now almost every time I go to the bathroom I notice a big bump that swells up and then goes away after a few hours. It is quite annoying. I think I need to go to the doc but am afraid of the Surgery word.

I am a 20 year old female and for the past few weeks I have been noticing every time I go # 2 it really hurts and I bleed after bright colored blood and only with one wipe. I believe this is external hemorrhoids. I got hemorrhoids when I gave birth to my daughter they went away but just in the past few weeks they have flared up. I feel like I have a protruding hemmroid. I try not to go # 2 because I want to try and give it time to heal but it hasn’t been able to because I keep irritating it every time I go. I don’t want to have to get surgery this is very embarrassing but I don’t want there to be long term problems if I don’t get it fixed. Can someone please help me? I tried some witch hazel pads and it seems to have helped a little. Also I started the nuvaring and I am wondering if this has anything to do with it (the pressure it puts down there). I had my daughter a year ago.

gets through then it no longer hurts as the rest passes through.
