Im 18 and i have an external hemorrhoid about the size of a blueberry…I have been taking care of it with prep h…it doesnt hurt anymore unless i tense up my butt lol but I guess what Im asking is if I will have that bump forever…if its normal…and if It will shrink and go back where it needs to be?? and Can I go swimming?

i’ve notice a burning irritation for perhaps 3 days now, and ive check to see the problem and i noticed two bumps. it doesn’t hurt when i use the bathroom nor does it bleed. but when i sit or walk for a while it began to hurt. i did some online research and im pretty sure its an external hemorrhoid. ive heard it goes away by its self, but what should i do?

Dear friends, I am getting scared when i surf net when i read about Hemorrhoids and piles because for the past 3 years (i know its too much of time) i am feeling a pulling pain in my anal after bowel movement which is rare and mostly during night between 3-5 am. For the past 3 years only once i saw blood with the stool. I am feeling shy to show to the doctor which i know is not wise (planning to meet doctor soon). How to find out myself whether it is a internal or external hemorrhoid and is it curable and what should i do to avoid any operation. Please don’t send 2 line answer i need in detail. A few days ago I had to squeeze really hard to let one out, maybe a BIT harder than I’ve ever done.

Today I realized that I now have a F*CKING external hemorrhoid. It’s a pink/purple thing coming out of my anus but residing ON the side of my anus ring.

I’m pissed and wanted to know what I could to do make it go away.
guess so. dont want to really tell my parents tho :S
