I had a baby last November and since I have given birth I have had internal hemorrhoids. I have had a colonoscopy and that is what they said it was. I was drinking the powder metamucil and that was working well. I think I am pregnant again because I very recently got very constipated again. I am hesitant to use the powder metamucil because of the aspertame if I am pregnant. I am wondering if the citrucel tablets are safe to use during pregnancy or flax seed? Or, does anybody else have suggestions?

Hi,
I am 16 years old, female, 5′5" and 133 pounds. First of all, I would like to lose about 10-15 pounds.

But, I had a colonoscopy yesterday. I am awaiting the results, but my gastroenterologist (spelling?) told me to go on a high fiber diet.
Can someone help me please plan a few days meals, or offer suggestions of high fiber diet plans.

Thank you.

For the last 3 years I’ve been suffering from regular bleeding episodes when going to the toilet. This may typically occur once every couple of months and last for about a week with bright red blood filling the bowel! As I am currently in remission from an unrelated rare form of cancer, every symptom I experience is always a bit of a concern. I’ve had a colonoscopy some 12-months ago and all was clear, been to the GP on a number of occasions and his conclusion was hemorrhoids which I can try using ointment, live with it or consider surgery! Regular checks with my oncologist seem to present with no cancer related issues, but I still get quite alarmed and concerned when I see a blood stained toilet bowel! Any knowledgeable and educated opinions would be appreciated.
Oh, I also didn’t mention that I am not experiencing any physical discomfort other than occasional itchiness!

I’ve seen my doc, he’s sending me to a GI specialist on Thursday. May have a colonoscopy. I’m not sure what a blood clot is supposed to look like, but the blood on my stool is formed together and occaisionally when I wipe, a "clot" is there on the paper. I’ve bled from hemorroids for years, but these clots are new. I’m just hoping I don’t have anything worse than hemorroids.
I do have pain while having a bowel movement. I may have an anal fissure instead of hemorroids. But like I said, the clots are new.

i have rectal bleeding and painful. I have had blood in my stool for 2 months now.My ESR and WBC are elevated, my hemoglobin is within normal though.doc put me on ANALPRAM coz i also have internal hemmorhoids and irritation in my anal canal…the pain is lesser now but the blood in my stool still there. I have normal and regular bowel movement but my bowel sounds are hyperactive. I have no abdominal pain thanks God. Solely a rectal pain. Im taking tylenol when pain kicks in usually at night. Im afraid to have colonoscopy im too young to have that. My doc did anoscopy and he found out internal hemorrhoids and irritation in my anal canal. Is it necessary to have colonoscopy at my age?.. pls somebody can help me what to do…
