I had anal sex a month ago. Started having diarrhea for 4 days then constipation and now blood in my stools. Have seen a doctor 2 weeks ago and was told i have internal hemorrhoids and anal fissure. How long should this last? Should i go back to the doctor? Will i need a colonoscopy?

I have suffered from internal hemorrhoids for about 3 months and want to know if genital, penis pain can be caused by hemorrhoids. I have had a colonoscopy a cystoscopy and both were normal and I my doctor even tested for STDs and urinary tract infections to be on the safe side which all were normal. I’m at a loss as to why I have anal pain from hemorrhoids and lower pelvic and penis pain. Can anyone tell me if hemorrhoids can cause genital and penis pain?

While this is an issue I hate to talk about, I am willing to try anything to get help with this. Starting back in November I’ve been having almost constant pain and discomfort in the rectal area. I have no insurance but I was able to get a colonoscopy which revealed polyps and an internal hemorrhoid. I know surgery is an option but I know things won’t be the same if I get that done. Any real tips would be helpful. I have a great sense of humor but this is serious so please spare the sarcasm.

Heya!! I asked a question on here a few weeks ago about symptons of bowel cancer. I went to see a doctor who said I have internal hemorrhoids. The only problem is I experience a feeling of being weak all the time, I’m assuming this is because of the bleeding from the hemorrhoids? My doctor is sending me for a colonoscopy, as my Mum’s brother died from bowel cancer at the age of 34. Does anyone else get this weak feeling? Its driving me insane and no amount of diet changes I make or vitamins I take seem to help. Any tips greatly appreciated:-)

it? and when you got a colonoscopy or they did did it show negative for awhile until you finaly you finaly had a positive result that you had a mass? Why are colonoscopys not that reliable when looking for cancer for a person under 40?So I am curious to know if you had bowel cancer or got it and you kept getting a normal reading for awhile until you got your diagnosis. Please your answers will help me. Thank you very much.
