Please help me, I’m so worried. My mum had a colonoscopy and she was given the all clear, but I’m still worried.
This does get a bit graphic so, if you are sensitive to that then you’ll not wish to read this.
Is it normal to get hemorrhoids when you’ve recently had a colonoscopy? I had my scope last Friday, and yesterday I noticed a bit of a problem, and today it has become worse. There is definitely a hemorrhoid; it is not bleeding…yet. So I guess I have two questions in one: Is the hemorrhoid a result of the scope? and, What can I do to get rid of it because it hurts to clean myself.
doctor and he recommended a colonoscopy. I had a few instances of rectal bleeding, but that is not common at all. My anal area itches from time to time, but there is nothing severe. I eat fruits and veggies a lot. I also use a fiber supplement. I work out at the gym 5 times a week. I feel like this is internal hemorrhoids. Does anyone have any insight?
I had blood in my stool earlier this year (never had any pain), then had a colonoscopy and the doctor said I had a few internal hemorrhoids but they were nothing to be alarmed about. He said to increase my daily fiber and drink a lot of water. The blood went away for a few months.
So I’ve been taking 35 grams of fiber (metamucil) and today there was a LOT of blood in there. Was it just because I was straining?
The doc said it was nothing to be alarmed about. Should I worry?
I had some rectal bleeding and I went to see my doctor. He said it could be hemorrhoids. However, he recommended I go see another doctor that specializes in that field. So,I went to see this other doctor. ANd he recommended I have a colonoscopy done to make sure it wasn’t anything serious. So, I did. And he claims everything is okay. However sometimes when I go to the restroom, I have some rectal bleeding. Is it hemorrhoids or what? The latter doctor did say i had a hemorrhoid; but, he did not give me any medication or anything like that. What should I do?
