Is having vaginal sex a thing to avoid when you have a hemorrhoid? Will it aggravate the hemorrhoid/ causepain?
I think my hemorrhoid is internal and pushing out. What is visible is small and round and the color seems to be white/blue I guess. It is not pink.

I have been using preparation H suppositories and the cream.
I am eating a high fiber diet and taking the "gentle laxative" that has an outer coating so it dissolves in your colon.
I am taking Omega-3 Extra Strength once a day.
I am avoiding constipation foods(fried food, cheese, meat), alcohol, and caffeine.
I am drinking pure blueberry- "Just Blueberry" from HEB
I am avoiding sitting on hard surfaces.

My condition does not seem to have improved much. I was wondering if it is okay to have vaginal sex NOT anal sex.
- My question is can I have vaginal sex?
- Will having sex make the condition worse or prolong healing?
- And does anyone have any tips for getting rid of this hemorrhoid that I am not already doing?

Thanks!!

Hello. I’m not sure. When I go to the doctor they can’t find nothing wrong with me and it’s been since last year. I went to a gastro and got a colon check like putting a camera through there and that was a flexible one. He said it was just internal hemorrhoids. During winter time I had belly problems and I occasionally vomit not like a stomach virus. Does anyone know the symptoms of the parasites and how can I get rid of them? Thanks for all the answers!
I don’t think so.

I’ve already been to see a colon rectal specialist that specializes in hermorrhoids and other digestive issues etc. as I started having lots of pain and most recently lots of rectal bleeding from that area. Well he told me I have an external one and he prescribed some prescription preparation H type cream to use. I also bought a donut cushion. I used up all the cream and have been using the donut cushion while working, but now my symptoms are more severe than ever. I’ve even started getting light-headed while working and feel like I’m going to pass out after I’m done w/ work. The dr. told me that if I continued to have problems to make another appointment and more than likely he would want to remove it by rubber band ligation or something like that. My question is, if I get that procedure done, and continue using the donut cushion, will that gaurantee that I don’t get any again? Has anyone had them removed using the rubber band procedure and did it get rid of them totally forever? It’s really affecting my job performance and I’ve started cutting hours because I feel so bad, the pain is so severe and I’m starting to feel pretty weak. It’s to the point where if I only work 30 minutes, I start bleeding alot afterwards.

I have internal hemorrhoids and am due for my exam. According to doctor this is what they do:

"Your doctor can tell if you have hemorrhoids by asking about your past health and doing a physical exam.

You may not need many tests at first, especially if you are younger than 50 and your doctor thinks that your rectal bleeding is caused by hemorrhoids. Your doctor may just examine your rectum with a gloved finger. Or your doctor may use a short, lighted scope to look inside the rectum.

Rectal bleeding can be a sign of a more serious problem, such as colon, rectal, or anal cancer. So if the first exam does not show a clear cause of your problems, your doctor may use a lighted scope (sigmoidoscope) to look at the lower third of your colon. Or your doctor may use another kind of scope (colonoscope) to look at the entire colon to check for other causes of bleeding."

OMG, this all sounds painful! I’m only 23. I am 5’6" and weigh 140 which is mostly muscle as I’m very active. I’m a healthy eater…fruits, veggies, whole grains…I even cook and grow my own produce instead of buying processed foods. What could be the root of my problem? I’m terrified. Help.
I don’t over work myself by lifting weights or anything strenous like that…I do bike riding, hiking, soccer, badminton, tennis and yoga.

I’ve been suffering from painful bleeding hemorrhoids for over 2 years now, since the birth of my daughter. I recently saw a colon and rectal specialist and he told me I had one external hemorrhoid. He didn’t want to remove it because he said it may not be necessary and opted to give me a prescription hemorrhoid cream instead called Analpram. I’ve used it all up already, a 2 months supply but it didn’t help any. I still have pain and bleeding. I recently moved and the specialist is too far from me now and there are no specialist near me, only family practitioners and ob-gyns. Can an ob-gyn treat hemorrhoids? I’m miserable. :(
