Hi, it has been about 5 weeks now since I developed a bump right in the middle of my rectum, it felt like a sharp needle pain when I had a bowel movement and was extremely painful. From my symptoms I think I have a thrombosed or prolapsed internal hemorrhoid. I tried chinese herbal medicine fargelin which is supposed to reduce swelling and thin blood to remove the clot but all it did was make my bleeding hemorrhoids worse, so I stopped taking it. I also used nelsons h care which had no effect at all. As the weeks progress it seems to be getting bigger and bigger and now I’m really scared. I dont want to have surgery because I heard its really painful. Plz help me

I am now 20 and have had pain right below my left rib cage for over a year and a half now. It’s a very sharp pain. Just recently it has felt like a bruise, when nothing visible was there. sometimes it will feel like there is a cut right below my rib, and still nothing visible. These pains will come and go, sometimes lasting days sometimes minutes. I thought of the pain as a broken rib on my left side protruding through my external oblique. I went to the doctor and had an x-ray and they found nothing at all. I can feel an abnormal bump..all most like the last false rib was turned sideways, but again the doc could not feel what i can. Just recently my fiance felt it, assuring me that I wasn’t over reacting. I feel that I have some sort of digestive problem. Although I’m not sure if it relates. I think (DON’T ACTUALLY KNOW) that there is a problem with my parastalsis after I eat. Instead of burping, it’s like I growl. The air slowly comes back up bouncing off the walls because of the waves caused by ongoing parastlsis when the food has all ready been passed through. Also, my bowl movements are not always regular. Sometimes I do feel constipated when I shouldn’t because my diet is pretty much the same. I have looked at an anatomy book and the colon is located directly in the area that hurts, But I’m not for sure if that is what it is. Please help me figure out what is wrong. I have found several others with my symptoms, but yet they too have not found any diagnosis. I feel so helpless and frustrated.

I have a bump around my anus and whenever i defecate it starts to bleed. Could it be hemorrhoids or something else, worse, not as bad? PLEASE help im a 17 year old guy

So…. I have had hemorrhoids for a few months now. It was self-diagnosed, but I know for sure it’s what I got (I’ve done a crap load of research.) At first, it was really really really bad to the point where I would cry, but then I started watching what I eat, drinking a lot more fluids, taking sitz baths, using Tucks pads (the ones with witch hazel) and using the cream as well, and they got a lot better. They come and go every now and then, but I start putting the cream on them and they get much better. Anyways, I was wondering if there was any way to get rid of them permanently. They shrunk and are sometimes not even noticeable, which can be very exciting, haha, but there is always a tiny bump where they used to be (they’re external ones, yuck.) So do you guys know any way I can get rid of them almost, if not entirely, permanently? I know I can get surgery, but I wanna know if anything else would greatly help it anyways. Even if you don’t have a way for them to go away permanently, any tips that helped you heal faster would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much in advance! This is kinda embarrassing

I think I just had my first hemorrhoid. At first, I thought it was just irritation from wiping too hard. However this was about 2 days ago, I’ve been having burning and itching around my anus ever since. And I can feel a small hard bump right at the rim of my anus. Does this mean it’s an external hemorrhoid? I changed my diet today to include more fiber and water. But I haven’t bought any OTC medicine, such as Preparation H, I haven’t even tried any ice.

Should I try getting the Preparation H cream or suppository? Is there anything else I can do to help fix this? And if I stay on top of treating my hemorrhoid. How long will it take go away?
I don’t have health insurance, so seeing a doctor is out of the question.
