OK, sorry if this is a gross sounding post… I have internal hemorrhoids - and I’ve had them before b/c I have IBS - but right now in my pregnancy they’ve been REALLY bad! I’m 33 weeks and I think my baby has dropped b/c there’s been a lot of pressure down there and the last 4 days I’ve had a bowel movement 4-8 times a day… with a LOT of bleeding… blood is pouring out when I go to the bathroom…
So my question is - has anyone else had this? Did they have to repair it? I"m a little big anemic right now (I"m taking extra iron) but I guess that could cause some problems with it healing… HELP!

Am I suppose to still have hemorrhoids 6 months after giving birth? I drink plenty of fluids, 90 onces of water a day to be exact and I take some Metamucil Fiber Powder. I also have really bad constipation and I went 3 months without having a bowel movement. My hemroids are bloody and a little painful. I havent really lost any pregnancy weight, just a couple pounds here or there. I’ve been working my a** of at the gym lately. That scale doesnt want to budge! Is it normal to have hemorrhoids and constipation 6 months after pregnancy?

I am a 29 year old female… I have had internal & external hemorrhoids for about 10 years now. I got them when I was pregnant with my first child. They never really give me a problem, they are just there. Sometimes they bleed a bit but this time there seems to be more blood and my hemorrhoids inside feel a bit irritated. This only happens when I go to have a bowel movement. This has been happening for the past couple days now. The blood is bright red not dark which leaves me to believe I may have ruptured or tore one of them and that it isn’t anything serious. Can anyone please give me some peace of mind with this. Everyone is telling me to go to the hospital cause it could be something more serious but I honestly think it’s a bleeding hemorroid. I know I should probably have it checked regardless but I just want to know if this is normal for someone with hemorrhoids.
Just got home from the hospital and I have a tear… it isn’t anything serious… thanks for your answers
