I just had a baby two weeks ago and before i took ex lax last night i haven’t had a bowel movement for two weeks since before my son was born now whenever i i try to use the bathroom it is the worst pain in my lower stomach and in my bottom i don’t know if its hemorrhoids or what my question is should i go to the ER or is there something i can do at home the pain is horrible but i feel a little better now that i have just had the worst bowel movement ever but im scared to use the bathroom again oh and im bleeding

For about a year now, I have had these pains that seem to go from my lower abdomen to my rectum (all internal). But they are usually relieved when I have a bowel movement, which is sometimes hours later. I also have blood in my stool occasionally, but it’s bright red, so I’m thinking it may be hemorrhoids, but can those cause that abdominal pain? It’s like a wave of pain that intensifies then dies down, so not constant or sharp pain really…
yeah, i forgot to put in some of that extra info. I’m 19 years old, exercise fairly regularly, and am on a no caffeine diet, so no cokes, coffee, tea, etc.

Since I delivered my baby 5 months ago, I suffered from external hemorrohid but it is gone , still after I have a bowel movement I feel OK for about 15 seconds and then I feel rectal pain for about 5 minutes and then I am OK for the rest of the day , can it be internal Hemorrohid?

Dear friends, I am getting scared when i surf net when i read about Hemorrhoids and piles because for the past 3 years (i know its too much of time) i am feeling a pulling pain in my anal after bowel movement which is rare and mostly during night between 3-5 am. For the past 3 years only once i saw blood with the stool. I am feeling shy to show to the doctor which i know is not wise (planning to meet doctor soon). How to find out myself whether it is a internal or external hemorrhoid and is it curable and what should i do to avoid any operation. Please don’t send 2 line answer i need in detail. i dont have blood or mucous discharge but after pooping, my butt itches, it sometimes burns and i feel pins and needle type of pain..after a bowel movement there is some leakage of feces, that is a symptom of hemorrhoid according to mayoclinic..i want to know if hemorrhoid can be cured without surgery? If so, which medicine is the best? I dont want to temporary relief, i want to get rid of hemorrhoids completely..and is there any bad effect of medicine, if i dont have hemorrhoids, if something else is causing the discomfort?
