Ok, so for a month now I’ve been pretty liquid and inconsistent when producing stools. (Yay, such a happy topic.)
I’m just worrying if this extended period of diarrhoea is perhaps pertinent to a case of Bowel Cancer?
It’s my biggest, probably most irrational fear…
Still, if anyone could shed any light on the situation further than "Go see your doctor lololol", then I’d appreciate it.
No, no, it’s not that I don’t like going to the Doctor. I’m currently on Citalopram 20mg, so I have to keep going back every month and such, but I’m just wondering if it’s actually any kind of cause to go in the first place.
So yep, this is embarassing- hence why I haven’t been to a doctor.
Whenever I do a ‘number 2′ and I wipe, there is blood on the toilet paper. Usually a drop or two.
This has been occuring for nearly 5 months now. Everytime I do one.
But today, there was more blood than usual, about a quarter of a teaspoon. This time darker red. It’s usually light red.
I experience no pain or constipation.
I frequently have diarhea, (more than I have in my life, so maybe every 2 weeks)
I have a history of bowel cancer in my family.
Eeek.. could it be a hemorroid? I’m not sure how long they last or if they go away naturally.
Thanks in advance!
My boyfriend has bowel cancer. He went for surgery last (early) June a week after he was diagnosed. Apparently it went well but he has to go for laser treatment of some sort once a week. What does this all mean because I’m trying to figure out what stage he’s in and trying to comfort him and telling him that he has higher chances. I think he says he’s in the early-mid stage and he’s about 29 and isn’t suffering from any other diseases so does that increase his chances of survival?
If he had the surgery, why is he having to follow up with laser treatments? I’ve been trying to research this but I’m getting confused by the medical terms and whatnot.
Our friend recently diagnosed with bowel cancer and she start chemotherapy. It has been about 10 days and she is back home after 4days. Every time we ask her she said she is better than yesterday. we are very confused because we was expecting she will be in a big pain. Can someone explain what is going on? If you or someone you know have gone thorough this pleas. Just to make our self ready I thank you in advance.
Yeah so..TMI but…
I went to the toilet a few hours ago and found bright red blood on the toilet roll. I went a while later, and it was there again, even though i didn’t poo. I have had a little bit of blood before, but not this much!
I noticed a change in my bowel habits about 1 and a half years ago..I started to go more frequent, like more than once a day! I don’t have diarrhea or constipation though. (Well, very rarely)
I don’t usually have stomach pains, and if i do they are very mild, and go quickly. I sometimes have pains in my bum when im going to the toilet, but again, only quite mild and occasional. Also it itches occasionally, but just for a few seconds.
Do you think i have bowel cancer =’[??
Its such an embarrassing thing to go to the doctor with, especially at 16 years old. Do you think i have to go?
Please help, thanks for any serious answers! =]
