My 70 year old father had surgery for bowel cancer 2 weeks ago, he is still in hospital, still feels very ill and still has no control over his bowels, it took 3 days for his bowel to start working properly and now he has no idea when he is going to the toilet, he is going around 7 times in 24 hours. is this normal, how long if ever will he be back to normal……….
is bowel and colon cancer the same?
if colon/bowel cancer is the easiest to cure, why is it a fact that it is a leading cause of cancer related deaths
im scared please help
and give me any information about it

My Nanny had cancer last year. She had chemo and stuff and got over it but now she has suspected bowel cancer. What are the chances that she will be ok? Does anyone know? She is quite obese and obviously not in the best of health. Thanks.
