I’ve seen my doc, he’s sending me to a GI specialist on Thursday. May have a colonoscopy. I’m not sure what a blood clot is supposed to look like, but the blood on my stool is formed together and occaisionally when I wipe, a "clot" is there on the paper. I’ve bled from hemorroids for years, but these clots are new. I’m just hoping I don’t have anything worse than hemorroids.
I do have pain while having a bowel movement. I may have an anal fissure instead of hemorroids. But like I said, the clots are new.

just curious, because as of late i have been having blood in my stools, and on my toilet paper. even a blood clot earlier today.. now i would go to the emergency room, however it is 30 miles away, and i hardly have any gas, and dont get paid til next thursday… so i made an appointment for friday.. and the only relative i have lives in mass.. and i live in wyoming… so thats why i havnt been to the doctor yet.. but i would like to know the symptoms of hemorrhoids, and possibly anything else it could be..

I've had a hemorrhoid (bout the size of a grape) for 2 solid weeks now. The health dept told me it could be a blood clot & may need to be lanced & the blood drained, but they couldn't do that there. So I've been looking for doctors, etc… willing & able to help me. I have no insurance. I've been reading up on Thrombosed Hemorrhoids. I thought that's what I have. But it's says they are excruciatingly painful. I wouldn't say mine is excruciating. It's sore & aggravating & I can feel it there, but I'm not dying of pain. There's no blood. It just won't shrink or go down. I've tried several at home methods. I'd like to have a better idea of how serious this is. I've been told surgery is very expensive & as I said, I don't have insurance. Any info would help. Thank you
