My doctor is an idiot. I have Painful INTERNAL hemorrhoids. I googled it, and it says internal hemorrhoids arent painful. - Mine are!!! :-S Well it only hurts when im passing a stool. Not otherwise. I have to sort of hover over the toilet, otherwise it hurts whilst it passes out. Has anyone else ever had this problem? It bleeds occasionally too. There is red blood on the toilet paper and it isnt mixed in. Ive has this since last July, and it wasnt bleeding then, i used over the counter meds and it was fine whilst i am on them, but soon as i stop, all the problems start again! Its back now with a vengance!

I went to see my doctor today, and told her the above. and she didnt even examine me. She told me "Do you see a doctor when you have a cold?" I said "no" and she said "Well I have more important cases than your hemorrhoids. Its such a common thing, just go to the pharmacy and buy something next time. If the problem isnt there when your on the medication, why do you stop?…

So, my question is HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD HEMORRHOIDS LIKE THIS? Internal, but you have pain when passing a stool. also, my a*us has a hard lump around it. ive booked an appointment with another doc. but i just need some feedback in the meanwhile! Im peed off, what if ive got cancer or something, she should be struck off the list!

My 84 year old grandfather just had a CT scan. He received a call from his doctor saying that they found something abnormal in his bowel and liver. His appointment is a week away. What are the chances this is cancer? What other things could this be?

The bleeding starts anywhere from a half hour to a day and it is as if an internal hemorrhoid has burst. (That is what I always assumed it was, but never really understood why it could be related.) I also don’t know if this info is useful, but I have never had anal intercourse.

Hi, I took my dog (black lab) to the vet with a very itchy bottom, she was constantly licking it and dragging it along the floor. I noticed a small pea sized swelling which was exactly like hemorrhoids. I made an appointment with the vet but on the day I took her the swelling had gone down. He told me her problem was her anal glands( which when he emptied were not even full) and when I said I thought she had hemorrhoids he poo pooed me and insisted dogs dont get hemorrhoids. (He also did a rectal exam with his finger and said she was fine). I took her home, the poor things itching had not improved and a few days later the pea sized hemorrhoid had returned. After looking this up I now know dogs DO get hemorrhoids and I am very annoyed with my vet. I am interested to know has anyone else had a similar experience with their vet and can I use a human treatment such as preparation H on her? Thank you.

Okay so Ive been feeling weird sitting down sometimes almost like Maybe there was an accident Or something,and then I would check constantly and there was nothing there, Nothing in my pants, And just thought I was imagining and felt itch butt… Sorry tmi… well i took a mirror, and I have at least one hemorrhoid its coming out of my anus…. Im really embarrassed, And Im only 25 weeks & 4 days. Ive read you can get pregnancy hemorrhoids and Or from child birth or before. Ive never had any before hand I had once before fissures which were just little cuts that i was given hemorrhoid cream for and they went away. It is painful when i go the bathroom And I just thought It was because my foods being digested more slowly for the baby. Ive missed my doctors appointment because im at my parents house, and in the middle of moving and having to switch doctors so I wont be able too see a doctor for about a month. And was just wondering has anyone had this, and what are the treatments available, During pregnancy and afterwards??? Especially if it wont go away… I read it can clear itself up. But Ive had every crappy symptom that comes with pregnancy so far so im really not thinking its going to go away on its own especially not after giving birth since this is my first baby.

Please any advise from mothers that have had this or know what the options are. Im not going to take anything until I talk to my doctor but i just wanted to know during or after to get rid of them what the options are?
