So i am pretty sure that i have a thrombosed external hemorrhoid. There’s a lump on the outside of my anus that is blue in color and is hard to the touch. I am generally a very active guy (i exercise every day) and the last couple of days i was sick and didn’t leave my chair for pretty much two days. I am guessing that the sitting is what has caused this. So what I am wondering is if a little exercise will help fix the hemorrhoid. I am 20 years old and never have had this before so I am kind of a bit freaked out, even though everywhere says hemorrhoids aren’t serious. That leads to another question. It defiantely hurts but its more bothersome than anything, so is there really any reason for concern? I read that you dont really need to go to a doctor unless you have severe pain, bleeding, or both? I only have the blue lump…

Hi, i’m only 22 and have been suffering from hemorrhoid for months. i’ve seen a doctor earlier on and the medicine prescribed to me (daflon and some ointment) stopped my bleeding…but the pain didnt seem to go fully (it only hurts when i passed my bowels) and i discovered a small lump on the outside, around the skin of my anus. i believe it’s an external hemorrhoid and it shouldnt be that serious as i don’t feel the pain at all unless the time when i go to the toilet and do my business. but i wanted to stop this pain so i went to get preparation H yesterday, it had this slight sharp pain when i applied it, is this normal? does it mean that its working and trying to sooth the wound? for how long will i have to apply this medication? i know hemorrhoid doesnt go away but does preparation H helps to shrink the lump and fully get rid of the pain? anyone help….thanks!
oh and has anyone been using preparation H and it works for them? thanks.

My boyfriend has been feeling discomfort in his anus for the past couple months. He has been experiencing hemorrhoids, pains in his groin, hard feces, and pain during bowel movements. Can anyone detect what this is?

What could happen if my boyfriend performed oral sex on me during a yeast infection?

I’m 19 years old and I’ve only had one sexual partner. I haven’t been sexually active since December. Recently the area around my anus has been itching. I thought maybe it was irritated from shaving in that region but with further inspection I found a small bump near the opening of my anus. It’s flesh colored and smooth. I’ve been researching HPV online because I’m scared at the possibility of having anal warts but it doesn’t look like any of the pictures. My diet has been really poor lately and I am almost always constipated due to having to take prescribed pain relievers so I’m guessing and hoping that it’s hemorrhoids. However, can a hemorrhoid be a bump at the opening of the anus or does it have to hang out? The bump is just really itchy and so is the area surrounding it. It hasn’t bled but I’ve read that not all external hemorrhoids do. I would think that one would have to have anal sex in order to get anal warts but I could be wrong. Can someone please help me out and take an educated guess as to whats wrong with me? *note: I will be going to the doctor I would just like an opinion to help me sleep better tonight*

Yesterday in the shower I felt a pea sized lump around my anus. I looked it up and the possible causes are colin cancer and hemorrhoids. Obviously I prefer it be one over the other. I have rarely noticed some dried blood on my toilet paper, but never payed much heed. Im just that kind of guy. On further inspection, the ‘lump’ is hard, not round, and sort of pointed. It sits just above (or below..it’s difficult to get oriented) the anus and will move a little bit. It’s painless though. I don’t really get any itching. I do do allot of standing, about 7 hours a day on average and I understand that can cause them. I’m 23 though, not 50. What do you think?
