I recently saw a program on public television for the fiber 35 diet. The diet appealed to me because 1) I eat a lot of vegetables/high fiber foods anyway and 2) the diet’s creator claims that eating 35 or more grams of fiber per day causes your body to burn a couple hundred calories just by processing the fiber. I’ve been on the diet only 2 weeks and have gotten past the nightmare cramping, bloating and *ahem* constant gas expulsion, but I’m wondering if this will really work in the long run. I’ve read some consumer reviews on the fiber 35 diet and wonder if the rave reviews of losing tons of weight are really true. Anyone have any experience with this? I’m on this diet primarily to lose weight and secondarily to preserve my health with healthy eating. In a typical day I eat a couple bags of frozen vegetables (broccoli, corn, etc.), a can of lentil or black bean soup, red beans & rice, oranges, and oatmeal or bran cereal. No meat, which is a new thing for me!

Hello

I am 35 unmarried female.I am suffering from piles & Urinary incontinence since 18 years. In piles(2nd stage may be) I never bleeded or pain, some times feel burning in the anal region(very rare) whenever eat nonveg or other spicy food. I try to eat with balance diet.Always feel strain in the anal region , urin bladder& urethra(in this area i feel more strain). after passing stool strain is much even stool is not hard.I alwayes feel to urinate. I feel haviness under the bladder & inurethra. If I put some stress & try to urinate with more power it passes of a few spoonfuls then a few drops at a time & stop without completely emptying the bladder. After passing stool in the morning or any time in the day -the amount of urin is large & strain is much on the bladder & urethra. The amount of urine is also much after drinking water. In the night after sleeping 2& 3 hours need to urinate, strain on bladder & urethra became low, the quantity of urine depends how much drink water. In the morning before going to pass stool, the amount of urine is less, colour is slightly yellow, doesn’t feel much strain on bladder & urethra. Now a days after drinking wateri am feeling haviness .If i have headech or fever ,the feeling to urinate is less but the colour of urine become yellow .

But Dr. Says, she think a lot.

I love to eat sweet, some times spicy(varitions in food or in another things)
I am short tempered or sencetiv(can’t express feeling easily)also weeping more, have a lot negative thoughts , uncomfretable with cold weather.Appitite is high.Menses is regular .Thirst is normal.

Through this reason i feel so bad & having stress that i can’t live normal life .

I was on some meds & it gave me diarrhea. & i notice that when i use the bathroom sometime i wipe a little blood. so i got a mirror 2 see what was wrong & i seen this bump or whatever & it itches. how can i get rid of it?

I just had it done with laser, 3 large clusters I was told. It is now on day 5 after and I am counting the days. even the hours! until the time I have "heard" I will be back to normal.
If you rate giving birth on a "Pain-scale" of 1 to 10 and it comes in at a 5 then this is so far off the end, I would have to give it a new number of it’s own. Maybe 20?
If anyone has has this procedure recently and can give me a timeline, a REAL timeline, for recovery, just knowing when it will end would make me feel a lot better.
Also if you know of any support groups where people who are in recovery or familar with this situation can "chat", it would be nice to hear from other people.

I’m 23 years old. I’ve had problems with chronic diarrhea most of my life. I suspect it to be irritable bowel syndrome. I first started noticing hemorrhoids when I was 18 years old. I haven’t really noticed that they have ever gone away completely. But gradually, they have gotten worse…

I have one that has gotten to be kinda large when it’s flared up, maybe about the size of an m&m candy. I very rarely see them bleed. They cause me a good bit of discomfort, but it isn’t unbearable.

When should I consider it bad enough to see a doctor (when I can’t bear it, perhaps….)?

What about treatment? Is rue care oil a joke? Do doctors steer people away from it? I’d like to avoid surgery if I can.

I have diarrhea fairly often, so don’t recommend that I get more fiber in my diet - that’d make my situation worse. I NEVER get constipated. I’m careful about not eating stuff that provokes diarrhea, but sometimes it’s inevitable. IBS aside, suggestions for the hems?
