Let me give you the background of my question really quick. I have dealt with a mild case of internal hemorrhoids for the last couple years and not much has helped. I bet several herbal supplements and herbal treatments to assist in various vein health and optimal digestion, etc but I really just want advice on the safety of combining some of the herbs I bought. Ok so here’s what I bought:

Psyllium Husks – 100 caps
Ginger-Peppermint Combo – 100 caps
Olive Leaf Extract – Standarized, 60 caps
Nettle Herb 435 Mg – 100 caps
also a formula in pill form I believe which contains-
Aesculus Hippocastanum 3x, Hpus; Ratanhia 3x, Hpus; Nux Vomica 3x, Hpus (0.0012% alkaloids); Calcarea Fluorica 6x, Hpus in a base of Lactose, USP

Tell me if it is relatively safe to take most if not all of those herbal supplements once a day or so and also if you have some good visualization techniques to rid hemorrhoids I would be interested in that too. Hello, I’m 17 years old and I’ve got a pretty terrible anxiety disorder so I’ve been panicking about this for literally half a month and it’s terrible.

Anyway, almost 3 weeks ago I started to notice reoccuring blood in the toilet after a BM.
A noticeable amount of blood, almost making all the water in the toilet a brightish red.
It went on for 7 days before I finally told my mom, and she took me to the family doctor.

He took a look and said there’s an inflamed bleeding hemorrhoid and a small tear or crack or whatever and he prescribed me to this cream (which is very disgusting to apply..)
He knew how long it had been happening, and that it had been happening after EVERY bowel movement and he said I’d be fine.

Is he right?
It’s been 8 days since I was given the cream, I use it twice a day as recommended.
One day the bleeding was gone all together, just one, I also happened to have diarreha that day could that effect it? Then the next day the bleeding was back!

Should I be worried at all? Should I keep taking the cream and not worry?
I’m so scared that it’s something else..

Thanks Cookie, yeah I actually am scared it’s colon cancer or something.. and it’s really scary. I know it’s most likely in my head but I came here for some sort of reassurance to tell me this is pretty normal.

I think I’ll wait another 10 days, and drink a lot of water, and ask my mom if I can use 3 of her fibre pills every day and I’m hoping it’ll clear up..

I could still use some more input, the more the better!

I have what I think is a prolapsed internal hemorrhoid. I’ve had hemorrhoids for many years, since I was in high school and I’m 25 years old now. I’ve had 2 children as well to add to the issue. I used to have 2 extrernal hemorrhoids. I could see and feel them but they are not painful at all. Well last year when I was pregnant with my 2nd baby I woke up one day with one of them in pain. It was horriable but I remember it being pretty bad. It bled for several days and that was it. I haven’t had a problem since. Well just the other day I started having some pain again but it wasn’t bad just enough for me to notice. I took a look "down there" and what I saw was a piece of pink flesh hanging out of my anus. The 2 external hemorrhoids I had before were not there just this pink flesh. It was a little swollen and irritated looking. It stopped hurting yesterday and there hasn’t been any bleeding either. Is this a prolapsed internal hemorrhoid? Where did my external one go did it burst last year and that is why it bled for several days? What should I do to treat this? If I go see my Dr. what will she do for it? Thanks!
