Self Treatment

Have a case of hemorrhoids again it would seem. The problem is I cant tell if its internal or external. When I am showering I feel back there but can barely feel it, or cant feel it at all. But when I go to the bathroom I pops out.

I am planning on going to the doctor for it at this point as soon as the holidays are over as it also bleed earlier. Though I didnt drink nearly as much water as I normally do today so I think that might have something to do with it.
Just wanted to clarify, I am trying to figure out before going into the doctor, is this an internal or external hemorrhoid?

I had a colonoscopy done because I was feeling nauseous and couldn’t keep my food down. The doctor thought it might be IBS. My insurance company agreed that this was a covered procedure as long as there is no pre-existing condition which there wasn’t. Now they are saying I owe them about 00 because the doctor found hemorrhoids and that is one of the items not covered within the first 6 months of me being insured. My question is, I didn’t go to the doctor because of hemorrhoids (I’m not bleeding or ever had any symptoms), I went because I was sick and couldn’t keep my food down. So how can they be denying the coverage when I didn’t even know that’s what they would find? Shouldn’t they cover you based on the initial visit diagnosis and the reason why you’re having the procedure in the first place? The doctor found internal hemorrhoids which 98% of us have – they’re benign and not a condition. They do nothing. The doctor says that was the diagnosis and the outcome of the procedure so that’s how they report it. The insurance company says, sorry, we told you hemorrhoids weren’t covered. And I’m wondering how it is that I went in for a supposed covered procedure because I was just sick in my stomach and came out owing almost 8K. Anyone ever heard of this?!?! I’m very concerned…

I had an EXTREMELY painful fissure about 2 months ago. I went to the doctor and he described it as an anal fissure with a thrombosed hemorrhoid.

After a week of treatment with nefedepine ointment, hot sitz baths and stool softeners.. I was feeling MUCH better. Within 3 weeks it was no longer a problem.

Well, this time around… I had tried to pass somewhat of a large stool [sorry for the t.m.i] and began to have the symptoms again; the swelling between the anus and the vagina, the pain after a bowel movement and the discomfort. It has lasted almost 2 weeks and is not getting better or worse… it seems like it gets a little better and then is painful again after a BM.

Any insight to what might be going on or what I should do?

Did I tear the fissure again?

please explain thanks
