I’m 20 and have just finished chemo for bowel cancer. I experienced quite a few of the symptoms, including tingling in hands and feet, darker skin on hands and feet and exhaustion, and have a temp ileostomy, which should be reversed soon. I was just wondering, how long before your body went back to normal? And have you had any issues with fertility?

I heard that if you have the surgery – they can still come back. What’s the point in having it done? Is it really worth it?

I just took all my hair ties and arranged them into colours. then i clipped together all the matching colours with a peg. then i arranged them back in the cubboard in little piles of the same color and slight variants.

Obviously I know I need to go to the doctor and I am going to call tomorrow, but what will they do? I have been have problems going #2 since I had a baby 6 weeks ago and I have been taking stool softeners, but it doesn’t seem to be getting any better and today I had a lot of blood from my butt and it felt as if I was cut inside. What will they do to treat this? I know it is going to be very uncomfortable getting checked too. who else had this problem?

I am assuming it is a hemorrhoid since I am feeling a really sharp cutting like pain when I try and use the bathroom and also there is no blood unless I am trying to go.

I’ve been doing some research on using a high fiber diet (35+ grams a day) and fiber supplements (like glucomannan) to lose weight. Anyone have a successful experience with this? Please include how many grams of fiber a day you consumed, what supplements you took, and how much weight you lost. Thank you!
