if u dont go 4 surgery, can this be really bed, i was told that wonce u hve them, they stay their unless they r removed please help, this is painfull an i need something

My hemorrhoids just got worse (I’m 68 and have had them just about forever) and are constantly swollen, rather than occasionally so. I would like to avoid surgery, if possible, and prefer natural–organic–methods to heal them. Unfortunately, my main weakness is sweets, which I know doesn’t help.
Alternatively, if surgery becomes necessary, what is the least invasive, least painful method current?

I’ve had it with this big, blue hemorrhoid. I’m going to cut it with an exact-o knife and close it shut by cauterizing it with a lit match head. If the match fails to do the trick, then I will just suppress it with bandages and pressure. I’ve got isopropal alcohol and peroxide standy by as well. Is there any other safe precautions I should be aware of?
