I think I have an internal hemorrhoid. 2 months ago, I started seeing small traces of blood on the TP when I wiped. I thought it was just dry and irritated from wiping with the dry paper, so I started using moist baby wipes. It’s been nicer with the baby wipes (feel cleaner), but I still see traces of blood on TP and wipes. I recently had a scare where I saw A LOT of of bright red blood in the toilet, and on the tissue. I didn’t feel pain, and I wasn’t leaking blood or anything serious. I waited it out, and next session was fine….no traces of blood whatsoever. Still concerned, so I started doing research, and internal hemorrhoids seems to fit the bill (no external hemorrhoids). I started taking a lot of Benefiber and drinking lots of fluids, and ever since I haven’t had a horrific bloody episode, but I still find traces of blood here and there when wiping, nothing serious. I also haven’t had any abdominal or rectal pain…..at all!

My question is….If I maintain a high fiber diet, consume lots of water, not strain and not have long sessions on the toilet; should I be concerned that internal hemorrhoids will get any worse? Will they ever go away on their own?

If your answer is "go see a doctor", then don’t bother answering my question!
I have a high deductible insurance policy, so I like to save the visits for more serious things, and from my research, it sounds like internal hemorrhoids aren’t serious, especially with my mild symptoms. Like I said, I’ve improved my diet and habits, and it’s been good. I’m just concerned about the long run.
I’d like to point out that within the last 4 years, I’ve had about 5 moments of proctalgia fugax….a middle of the night anal charlie horse.

This is embarrassing, but…. I have tested positive for herpes through a blood test, but I have never had an outbreak. My problem now is that I think I may have hemorrhoids (mostly internal), but I’m worried that maybe it is anal herpes instead? I have never had anal sex, but I have heard that you can still have an anal outbreak regardless.
For a few months now, I have seen a little bit of blood on the toilet paper when I wipe, but it has always been a small amount. There have been a couple of little tears now and then, so I figured that was the cause of the bleeding. I have had itching too.
The past few days, my symptoms have been a little worse. I’m not sure why I initially decided to do this, but I took a mirror to the bathroom and held it so that I could see my anus as I was pushing out. A couple really swollen looking and bright red things come out past my anus, and go back in.

I forgot to mention that I have been taking a diet pill, for about a month. I have been having diarrhea, but it started after I started taking the pills, so I think its related to just that. I say this to point out that I have not been constipated, so I haven’t had to push too hard to go to the bathroom. However, now that I see the swollen looking red things that come out, I feel like I am having to push harder because It feels like I need to push extra to get the stool to go past the red things. I know this is kind of gross, but I took a couple of pictures (clean) in case I can send them to someone to help with a diagnosis. I’ve been reading and it seems like my symptoms can fall under anal herpes, hemorrhoids, and even inflammatory bowel disease. Please help!

I’m 15 an i have an external hemorrhoid. How can i get rid of it?

My sister have hemorrhoids and she’s pregnant, is it possible for her to loose her baby? She’s been bleeding A LOT but anal. Does anybody know? HELP!

Ok so this is a little weird but i need to no! I have this squishy little lump on my butt hole like on the side of it like coming out. Lately i have been having a couple loose stools a day and it really hurts because its irritating that lump and sometimes there is a a spot of blood when i wipe. I tried pushing it back in but it comes right back out. Its really uncomfortable and it hurts when i have a bm. Im pretty sure its hemorrhoids but i want to make sure. I have been taking hot baths and been putting preperhation h on it. How long will it take to go away cause im going on a big trip in 1 week i would like it to get better. I am only 14 about to be 15.. so ya… I told my mom but not my dad cause that would be a little awkward. So 1 is it a hemorrhoid? 2 how long will it take to get rid of it? 3 Any other treatments??? THANKS! any answers will be helpful. no mean answers plz..
