Experimentation with a high fiber/whole grain diet for 8 months made me surprisingly extremely, severely ill. I was completely cured as soon as I resumed my original diet. All I can find is data praising high fiber diets. Is there any information that suggests that these diets can be harmful?
Has this happened to anyone else?
Fiber Diets Archives
Since apparently fiber is really important to losing weight and all.
what else is high in fiber other then cereal.and bread. any fruit or any other kind of food
I have been following a low fat, high fiber diet and have had some great results. However, every afternoon I get pains in my stomach, which I know are gas from all the fiber. I am wondering if it is ok to take an over the counter gas medicine, like Gas-X for that, or can my body get accustomed to that? I dont want to change my diet because I finally found a way to lose weight without feeling deprived, but it can get real painful some days.
