My neighbor has been really rude to us because our leaves have been blown to their side from time to time, and she gets really anal about that. It’s as if we can control which way the wind blow those leaves. So she sweeps her driveway every single day, and whatever leaves are right in the middle, she sweeps it to our driveway. My mom always says just leave it alone and don’t stoop to her level. She has frustrated me beyond words. She has a bad leg and so I guess she tries to exercise by sweeping leaves every single day. She’s 40 years old and she lives with her mother. They don’t really do much except be at home and stuff. One day my mom was washing her car and then some water got on her side a bit and she all of a sudden swept all her leaves and left a pile on our lawn! I guess she has nothing better to do than to seek revenge and get mad about leaves and water and stuff. Well anyway, today she told me that she has seizures and that if I see her falling down, just let her mom know but don’t call the police or the ambulance or anything. There are days when she’s nice, but there are days when she’s so rude. And she has seizures. And has a bad leg, and who knows what else. But I’m wondering, is seizure linked to any behavioral problems, or maybe even bipolar disease? Because her personality does not seem consistent sometimes. There are days when she is just rude about the leaves, but at the same time, this chick is kind of crazy. What do you think and what should I do?

My wife and I went out of town to my aunt’s funeral. We live in Maine and spent four days in Pennsylvania for the funeral. We left my son, Bernard, at home for the time because of school and he never met June (my aunt) anyways. When we returned we found a sizeable pile of feces in the blankets of my bed. Bernard knows not to have parties so when I inquired about the poop he said our family newfoundland, Bayard, must have gotten into our room and pooped on the bed. Bayard was an old dog and knows better than A. to be on the bed and B. to poop in the house. He did both and so in a bout of frustration Jess (my wife) and I took Bayard and got him put to sleep the next day while Bernie was at school. When he got back he admitted that he had a party and his friend actually had anal sex on our bed. The girl pooped afterwards and never bothered to tell anyone/clean it up. We told him Bayard is being boarded at a kennel for the time being. How do I got about breaking his heart with the news that Bayard was put to sleep? I feel awful and can’t bear to tell him about my hasty decision. Thanks a lot.

Also, Bernard is eighteen and perfectly capable of packing his own little lunch and driving to school. It doesn’t make ME a bad parent for leaving my adult son at home, to fend for himself in the wild deep of…THE KITCHEN CUPBOARDS…for food. Jesus, stick to the question at hand people, please!

if you wore fur, you might say, "well its the same as eating meat, or wearing leather", but it is not that way at all. Cows, pigs, hens etc… are killed for their meat and then their skins/feathers are by products (although i do not support the ways they are killed, and i am also a vegetarian).
but fur animals are raised in terrible factory farm conditions and killed in the most malicious of ways (electric anal and vaginal probing, or sever head-beating, and then live skinning). They are killed in the most gruesome ways because the main goal is to protect the fur, so if anally electrocuting them and frying their insides is the cheapest and most effective way, then they will do it. people may not realize this, or care for that matter, but when you’re wearing fur, often times you’re not just killing one animal, you’re killing 30 or 40 just for that one garment.
additionally, 2 million cats and dogs are killed each year in the fur trade, in china. china supplies the world with 80% of its fur, some of which is cats and dogs. you can own a fur item made out of german shepherd and not even know it, because the only way to tell what kind of fur the suppliers are selling to the designers, the designers would have to DNA test each pelt, which obviously, they wouldn’t do.
so i would just like to know how someone can justify wearing fur, when they know that the animals endured so much pain and unwillingly gave their LIVES for that person’s vanity.

All i see when i look at someone wearing fur, is a pile of skinned, quivering beings, slowly decomposing in plastic bins. Supporting brutal, inhumane murder is WRONG.
