managing hemorrhoids?
I have been to the doctor and have been told I have a very tiny itty bitty internal hemorrhoid.
So I have taken it upon my self to eat a high fiber diet and drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. And it went away
It only bleed a tiny bit once which is what led me to the Doctor.
But never one time since I have changed my habits.
My question is if I continue this lifestyle then should I be able to manage it to where it never protrudes
by managing them Im speaking of a 1-60year span. Not just currently I mean if I maintaing this lifestyle then will they never get bad within a 1-60 time span.

You are going to want to do multiple things:
1) Not only eat a high fiber diet, but when you get an "outbreak" use a stool softener so you don’t strain. One of the main causes is straining during defecation (sorry to be so blunt). Yeah, so plenty of fluids and a mild stool softener (Docusate = Colace 100mg Every day during an outbreak).
2) Use a hydrocortisone cream to sooth and constrict the blood vessels. That is the gold standard I see all the time from ER / Urgent care.
If you have an internal hemorrhoid, you are going to need something called "Proctofoam" or "Anucort HC" which are both the same thing: Hydrocortisone Enema’s to reduce swelling and stop bleeding and help symptoms.

previous answer had good tips. also, i have heard that doing kegel exercises daily (where you use the muscles you would to stop the flow of pee) can increase blood flow to the pelvic/abdominal region, which can reduce risk of hemorrhoids.
i like this article for tips on dealing with them:

Hey,
It sounds like your case is very minor so you should be able to manage it. Your hemorrhoid is always “just below the surface” because of some ongoing weakness in your gastrointestinal area. You might want to consider (at some stage) using a natural hemorrhoid cure (there are several on the market) to strengthen this weakness and permanently cure your hemorrhoid…you can get rid of it once and for all.
For more information about how you can do this, check out the sites listed below.
Hope this helps,
