For immediate relief, apply a topical over-the-counter ointment or use zinc oxide, petroleum jelly, or witch hazel.
Take two or three sitz baths daily: Sit in a warm bath with your knees raised for five to fifteen minutes.
If you must sit for long periods of time, or if you simply need immediate relief from painful hemorrhoids, buy a "doughnut" to relieve the pressure of sitting.
Shift the emphasis of your diet to high-fiber, complex-carbohydrate foods. Gradually increase the amounts of fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads, beans, and other high-fiber foods. Gradually eliminate highly refined foods.
Use a stool softener or psyllium powder,
1 teaspoon in water once or twice daily–when you first notice symptoms or if hard stool is not relieved by diet.
Improve your bowel habits: Don’t strain; move your bowels only when you feel the urge. Limit the time you spend on the toilet-don’t use the bathroom as a library!
Don’t use harsh toilet paper. Use premoistened towelettes and wipe gently.
Avoid lifting heavy objects, as this puts a stress on your circulatory system.
If you are pregnant, it can help to lie down on your left side and rest for about a half hour two or three times a day. It also helps to lie on your left side at night, if you’re comfortable in that position, to relieve the pressure of the fetus on the veins serving the lower half of the body.

One of my best friends has this problem. Her brother suggested Mona Vie. She took it for 1 week and is better!!!! This blend of juices is ingested for digestive health. It is pricey, but worth it. I hear the primary ingredient is Acai-a juice from the Amazon Rain forest. There are other juices in there too. Maybe fruit is the way to go to soften your excrement-to make it easier to pass. I would give Mona Vie a try-what do you have to lose? As with any natural remedy, you must take it over time to restore health.
Why not trying Rue Care Oil. It helped me when other treatments incl. Prep H failed. Check also what is the cause of your hemorrhoids. It is important to treat the cause of it as well.
It work for me, you take garlic and you peel some and crush them, then wrap it in gauze and put it on your hemorrhoids,, it will burn them, when u cannot stand the pain, it will burn remove it and try it again another day. Try to endure it for a while.
It work for me and for some people I gave the advise.
It is the natural way
The first thing you have got to do is keep your stool soft.
Next, use a mix of witch hazel & tea tree oil applied to hemorrhoids. These 2 will promote healing & shrink the roids. Then use a covering of zinc oxide or preparation h cream. This covering will keep the anal area clean.
