Curious question here. Is there anyone on here that knows someone with bowel cancer or have you got it or had?
it? and when you got a colonoscopy or they did did it show negative for awhile until you finaly you finaly had a positive result that you had a mass? Why are colonoscopys not that reliable when looking for cancer for a person under 40?So I am curious to know if you had bowel cancer or got it and you kept getting a normal reading for awhile until you got your diagnosis. Please your answers will help me. Thank you very much.

Colonoscopes are the best tool to detect pre cancerous polyps before they become bowel cancer. I had bowel cancer at 47 so age is not necessarily a factor. If in doubt check it out.
I know someone who had it for many years and they finally found it once he had symptoms and went in for a checkup. They removed the cancer and it didn’t spread too far. He’s on chemo and so far it’s been good.
