Fairy – Piles, also called hemorrhoids, are enlarged veins in the anal area. Even after an operation to remove the piles that are seen, new ones may form and produce new, bright red blood. It is also possible in the anal skin to develop small skin tears, known as fissures, which can also produce rectal bleeding. It is good if your uncle’s diet includes vegetables and foods in a soft diet to avoid constipation, as well as drinking sufficient fluids. Next, he may have to see his doctor to be sure that nothing else is the cause. Meanwhile, daily washing of the anal area and use of some "baby" powder to keep the area dry may be of help. Wipe gently.
Piles means hemorrhoids? If the bleeding increased or changed in its character after the operation, it may well be a complication of the surgery. I would highly recommend that your uncle sees a doctor, if only to make sure that he is not becoming anemic as a result of chronic blood loss.
It may also represent a recurrence of hemorrhoids. If he has had hepatitis C for a prolonged period of time, it can lead to cirrhosis (scarring of the liver), which can in turn predispose to rectal hemorrhoids among many things.
