Pregnancy and hemorrhoids?
I am almost 31 weeks pregnant and I have a hemorrhoid. It started a few days ago as a minor annoyance and now it hurts extremely bad. I can barely move or walk. It’s an external hemorrhoid and it’s bigger then a pea but smaller then a grape. It hurts so bad. I used Preperation H because it was on my approved list of medications but it didn’t help at all. Will it go away on it’s own and how long does it normally take? Is it normal for it to be this painful?

I just had this problem 1 week ago. I was 29 weeks preggo. It was the most uncomfy thing ever. I had to get a referral from my OB to go to a Hemorrhoid specialist. Needless to say once I went to him the next day things were all better. That Prepartion H stuff does not work on the type of hemorrhoids that preggos get which is what the doc told me. So ask your OB to refer you to a specialist. I know how annoying this is.
You might want to see your doctor about it if it’s that bad. Mine never hurt that bad constantly, but used Tucks when it did.
yeah they can be painful an irritating at times an some never go away…to prevent them stay active dont sit for to long an during a bowel movement dont push to hard…
