Has anyone had hemorrhoids like this?
My doctor is an idiot. I have Painful INTERNAL hemorrhoids. I googled it, and it says internal hemorrhoids arent painful. – Mine are!!! :-S Well it only hurts when im passing a stool. Not otherwise. I have to sort of hover over the toilet, otherwise it hurts whilst it passes out. Has anyone else ever had this problem? It bleeds occasionally too. There is red blood on the toilet paper and it isnt mixed in. Ive has this since last July, and it wasnt bleeding then, i used over the counter meds and it was fine whilst i am on them, but soon as i stop, all the problems start again! Its back now with a vengance!
I went to see my doctor today, and told her the above. and she didnt even examine me. She told me "Do you see a doctor when you have a cold?" I said "no" and she said "Well I have more important cases than your hemorrhoids. Its such a common thing, just go to the pharmacy and buy something next time. If the problem isnt there when your on the medication, why do you stop?…

Make an appointment with a gastroenterologist. They specialize in treating ailments associated with digestion and elimination. They have seen plenty of hemorrhoid cases and will be able to more adequately diagnosis your case and suggest the best course of treatment. Hems can be extremely painful. I had them removed surgically and they came back. Mine are related to a chronic condition I have called portal vein hypertension. When they are bad, use some cortisone suppositories and sit in a warm bath. Use medicated wipes when you have a bowel movement and keep yourself very clean. Good luck.
IMO it is good you are seeing a second doctor, because if your are concerned enough (and uncomfortable enough) to go to the doctor in the first place you deserve to be taken seriously. The fact that your symptoms return once you stop the medicine shows that you have a chronic condition, not just an intermittent flare-up. There are surgeries that can take these out for you, laser is one type, and may end up to be the option you need to finally get relief from your problem. Good luck.
i also had the same problem when i had a bm. i finally had my sphincter muscle cut. i was getting rectal fissures. i was tearing just a little bit and it was taking a while to heal. so they cut the muscle its a lot better now. try hemorrhoid cream with hydro cortisone in it. it will take down the inflammation. and check with your doc to see if you may have a rectal fissure. also get some witch hazel to use when you clean your self. and soaks in hot water will help aot. and keep your bm soft so you wont tear or strain. merlax is really good laxative. no taste and no cramping and it doesn’t over do it if you no what i mean.
Yes – I had internal prolapse hemorrhoids (internal hemorrhoids that protrude outside the rectum) and yes, they are very painful.
I got rid of hemorrhoids with Rue Care Oil. The protrude (the lump you see outside the rectum) usually shrinks quite fast, and it takes longer to heal the internal part of the hemorrhoid.
You might need more than 1 bottle of the product
Once the prolapse was gone I applied the oil with the finger on the inflamed part of the vein, so I was able to monitor the healing progress (shrinking of the vein).
