I have a sharp pain in my lower front left part of my body.?
It is about 3 inches to the left of my belly button. I looked at a chart of the anatomy of the body and the only thing I see is my colon and small intestines there. It is like someone sticking a knife in me, but it doesn’t happen all the time it come and goes. It has been doing it for 6 days now. Any ideas on what it might be? If it continues I will go see my doctor.

You may have an inflamed lower colon. Not much you can do. Keep off fried, greasy foods, dairy products, raw veggies, lettuce. Fish oil capsules if you have them, two caps twice a day and drink at least 5 glasses water every day.
How are your BMs? Have you the ‘urge’ to go but can’t? Ask any pharmacist.
Is it related to your menstrual cycle? If yes it could be ovulation pain (middlesmertz). If no, it may possibly an ovarian cyst.
well, it could happen to be stones … if the pain persists you should go to a Doctor. check the website and compare your symptoms. Hope you get better soon.
do you notice it more when you eat certain things, that can bring it on, if you notice any food that brings it on then cut that out if your diet and keep a diary as to what you can eat and not eat and the dates, it will help the gp deal with the problem more.
hope you get it sorted out & good luck.
