External hemorrhoid…..?
This morning i woke up with a pain in my butt. Everytime i sat down, i would get sharp pains. It would hurt when i poop, only when i push, not when the poop actually came out of my anus. I looked at my anus and it seemed as if there was a little purple ball right next to my anus. im guessing this is the external hemorrhoid…how can i get rid of this? What types of medication can i buy over the counter(specific names please) Also, how long will this last? and one more thing….Can i play sports with the hemorrhoid? I play soccer and i cant afford to miss any practices or games but i dont wanna play if it will only make anything worse…

I have one too. Have had it for years. I’d been using creams doctors prescribed but they just alleviated the irritation, didn’t clear it up. Then I ran across this site – http://www.externalhemorrhoidtreatment.info/ and he recommended some stuff. I actually emailed him to discuss it. But its kinda like all these things – you’ve got to get to the cause of it not just treat the symptoms – or the external hemorrhoid in our case. I do a lot of bike-riding so it was literally a pain in the butt until I pretty-well cured it. Still have to watch my diet and other things. Hope this helps. Cheers, M.
you can try preperation H but you really probably need to see your doctor about it, especially if it’s that bothersome. They can do surgery.
The best thing to use is tucks hemorrhoid cream and tucks in a pad, that has medications on them to help clear up this problem. There also is a cream for the pain called nupercainal for the pain. Be sure to use these at night before you go to bed, because this helps alot in clearing this up. You can play soccer if it doesn’t cause you any pain. It may take 2 or 3 days for this to clear up after using what I told you above. I know all of this because I am a nurse and have seen good results with these medications. And you can buy all of them over the counter. Hope you feel better soon.
