could my mam have bowel cancer?
my mam has recurring cervical cancer..and is complaing of a back ache since the time her Second tumor was discovered..would this be a sing that the caner as spreed in to her bowel??

You refer to a second tumour, where was this?Certainly cervical cancer can spread to the bowel. For any reliable information you must talk to her own doctors.
If the woman is diagnosed with cervical cancer, the health care provider will order more tests to determine how far the cancer has spread. This is called staging. Tests may include:
* CT scan
* Cystoscopy
* MRI
* Chest x-ray
* Intravenous pyelogram (IVP)
Possible Complications:-
* Some types of cervical cancer do not respond well to treatment.
* The cancer may come back (recur) after treatment.
* Women who have treatment to save the uterus have a high risk of the cancer coming back (recurrence).
* Surgery and radiation can cause problems with sexual, bowel, and bladder function.
