What could this possibly be at 20 weeks pregnant?
I went to the hospital Thursday for some pains. I found out I had a UTI. The heartbeat was good at 157. Well for two days I have what seems to be a slight menstrual cramp that seems to come and go. It will last for about 5 seconds. I have been having a problem with internal hemorrhoids. The cramps aren’t extremely painful. They are just a little discomforting. I am 20 weeks 3 days pregnant. I having a problem with round ligament pain. Could the cramps be something serious?

I had menstrual like cramps a couple week ago as well. I was told it was my uterus stretching and crowding all of my internal organs, which made sense to me. It slowly subsided and now is gone completely. Only warning sign of a problem is any sign of blood or spotting. Other than that cramps of any kind are normal throughout pregnancy.
it could be the round ligament pain, or it could be constipation. it is hard to tell for sure. Your best bet is to go to your doc and ask if you need to be concerned.
It could be cause by a tilted uterus, but that’d be something you’d already be aware of. But if you are worried I’d take it up with you gynecologist
