Can an external hemorrhoid be healed/cured with just preparation-H?

   Gert, It may shrink it but once you have a hemorrhoid you got it what irritates it is hard bowel movements, try to take 1 stool softner every day to make bowel movements soft , back in the early 80′s I had to have an emergency hemorrhoidectomy, I had 18 of them some inside, some outside, the doctor said if he had taken off any more I would have to be wearing a bag on my side. That was one horrible surgery. so try to keep those bowel movemrnts soft and take warm bath’s when one is bothering you. Hope this helps Rita V

   Hi Gert.

   First of all, hemorrhoids will shrink in size with time but you will have them for life.

   Make sure not to put too much strain in the anus region. Don’t sit for too long at the time. And don’t do heavy weight lifting for a while.

   Prep-H is one way to cure but not the only one. The ultimate solution is surgery. You’ll help your healing with fiber-rich intake combine with plenty of water. Stop process food and go out walking, swimming, hiking.

   Correct diet, plenty of fiber, exercise and lot of Vitamin C (ascorbate) works for me.If you have 8 in 1 coffee with agaricus,gingko biloba,omega 3,tongkat ali in your country, try it .I just take after 8 hours, i relieved my constipation and shrunk my hemorrhoids.
