Can hemorrhoids cause preterm labor?
I am 22 weeks pregnant and have had terrible hemorrhoids for 5 days now. My OB nurse told me on the phone to use tucks pads and preparation h. It still hurts really bad and seem to have gotten larger. It makes my vagina hurt. Can they cause preterm labor or other really bad things?

Don’t worry about preterm labor. Your hemorrhoids are not going to be a problem. So many pregnant women have them and they are just annoying and shouldn’t cause any damage to you. The problem is that often times women have to deal with the problem off and on for a long time even after pregnancy. I would go with the normal over the counter treatments like prep h or witch hazel. Take a sitz bath and relax. But if these treatments don’t work for you I would check out this product called H Miracle, it really works wonders – http://www.curehemorrhoidsnaturally.com/h-miracle-review
No. A lot of women get hemorrhoids while pregnant. It is uncomfortable for you, but they may go away after birth. Don’t worry though. You’ll be fine.
I don’t think so because they are so common. I would call your doctor back though
I asked my doctor about this and her answer is in the negative. She said not to worry about it, because I myself was worried that it would cause preterm labor.

I don’t have much idea on that. But hemorrhoids really put the bad effects on labor.
