Poodle poo problem- Anal glands possibly?
My sister woke up this morning to find 10 pie sized piles of diarrhea on the living room carpet. Her dog is only a ten pound POODLE she said it seemed like a gallon of poo… yuck I know.. is it possible she forgot to excrete his anal glands and he exploded??? I mean it was horrible! Is it seriously possible for a dog that small to have a GALLON of diarrhea. Do we need to have his anal glands excreted still?

LOL no. His anal glands did not explode. He just had a case of diarrhea.
Unless your dog has problems with his anal glands, leave them alone. Most dogs are able to express them on their own during defecation.
I don’t think anal glands have anything to do with this. Did her dog eat something he shouldn’t have the day before? He should have plenty of water, and if she is still worried call the vet.

Well, if it is his anal glades then he still would need to go to the vet. It can be deadly if not taked care of. But even if it isn’t I would still take him to the vet just to be safe. Is there anything that he could of eaten maybe?
I’d check w/the Vet. Sounds like he ate something..make sure he’s drinking tons of water before he gets to see the Vet..
I agree diarrhea not normal. She should seek help from a vet.
