What does a hemorrhoid feel like?
I suppose its a sign that I’m growing up. I am just concerned about what it actually is compared to what I think it might be. About five days ago, I started noticing blood on toilet tissue and a burning sensation for nearly a half hour after using the toilet. And about two days later, and up until this very moment, all I feel is itching, all the time.
According to what I was reading, hemorrhoids are either internal or external. Internal ones bleed and hurt, and external ones itch. However, I have both symptoms. That could suggest that it started out as an internal one, that’s prolapsed, and is now external. But then, I don’t even know that it is a hemorrhoid, and I am not incredibly eager to go to my doctor and show her my butt, let alone stick in a finger, as I’m sure you could understand
Thanks

Yep, you’ve got hemorrhoids. I’ve had external hemorrhoids for a few years now and when I have a flare-up, I experience that burning and itching sensation too. For that, I have some Preparation H and some witch hazel pads (like Tucks) handy. There are also some natural hemorrhoid products online, like Hem-Relief and Venapro, that can give you some immediate relief, and even a report called H-Miracle that’ll teach you some home remedies to get immediate pain relief and shrink your hemorrhoids.
My hemorrhoids feel a bit like shriveled up grapes, except after a bowel movement when they protrude and feel like smooth (and in my case, big) grapes. And when I have a bowel movement, I oftentimes feel like I’m not "done", even if I am (if you know what I mean).
If your blood is bright red and the bleeding IS being caused by hemorrhoids, I think that’s usually a sign that you’re putting pressure on an external hemorrhoid during a bowel movement. It may scrap hard against the hemorrhoid on the way out and cause a vein to open, or it may be putting extra pressure on the rectum walls when you ‘go’ and cause an anal fissure.
a hemorrhoid is a pimple like object which (internally) sits in the crack. When you scrape the hemorrhoid you will feel a stinging sensation, and after you do ur Business, you will be left with a "burning sanitation". These go away, fortunately after time, but there is medication available.
External hemorrhoids are on the outside, causing difficulty and uncomfort when putting pressure on the buttocks. I advise if that happens, to never sit on a hard serface, and always use cushions and pillows. This will also go away after time.
If it starts to become unbearable and produces lots of blood, go and see a doctor. I know it will feel uncomfortable and unnecessary, and of course embarrassing, but it’s the right thing to do. You will be all right if you have a hemorrhoid.
Best wishes!
Hope I helped.
Hi,
I had the same problem. They can be caused by pushing too hard with bowel movements, stress can also cause them. The doctor visit is quick and easy. They will insert a small light in your anus to make sure there is nothing else wrong. A little cream should help it to clear up. It isn’t really that bad! I promise.
