Hemorrhoids can be caused by straining to have a bm. If you are constipated an enema can help with that. In that sense, yes, enemas can help with hemorrhoids.
The first person gave the correct definition. Probably what you have seen advertised is the disposable enemas which contain a chemical. Plain warm water will work as well and is safer.
Enemas do not help with hemorrhoids.
Enema – from the dictionary – the insertion of a liquid into the bowels via the rectum as a treatment, especially for constipation, or as an aid to diagnosis.
